CHAPTER NO. 2
2.1 Environmental Analysis

2.2 Political and Legal factors

2.2.1 Political Factor
Pakistan has a high level of political unpredictability. The government lacks a well-defined
policy. Large, fixed costs are required for investment in the hybrid seed sector, which can only
be made when political conditions are stable, and investors have confidence in economic
conditions. It does not, however, have a significant impact on current businesses. Organizations
must be able to respond to current and future legislation and adjust their marketing strategies
accordingly.

The political situation of Pakistan is not satisfactory. Due to rapid change in the government every
government set its own trade policies. Government should apply the sustainable policies for the benefit of
the exporter as well as investors.
 Stability in political environment
 Government policy and law that regulate or tax business
 Government’s position on marketing ethics
2.2.2 Legal Factors:

 Like all business, GLOBAL SEED LINK must confirm to the legal minimum standards which
are as enforceable jurisdiction. There are many other factors are involved in legal status
 Legal regulation
 Maximum wage legislation

 Child labor
 Working under the rules and regulation of company
2.2.3 Economic Factors
Economic indicators are also showing a decline in business activities as a result of the country's
high political instability. Inflationary pressures raise production costs, which has an impact on a

8
company's pricing strategy.
Macroeconomic and microeconomic factors are two types of economic factors. Macroeconomic
factors are concerned with the management of industry demand and supply. Microeconomic
factors deal with the organization's internal factors.
Further to the political trend analysis given above, the following underscore economic indicators of the
production regimen at GLOBAL SEED LINK. The economic condition of Pakistan also affects the
foreign investor increasing inflation rate make the cost of production high and thus reduce the profit
margin of the investor high flexibility in exchange rate also adversely effects on the international deals of
organization.
 Interest rate

 The level of inflation

 Employment level and per capital income level
 Long term prospect for the economy gross
 Domestic product GDP per capital
2.2.4 Social Factors

The country lacks skilled labor, and labor unions have an impact on company productivity.
Managers are more concerned with building relationships than with completing tasks.

Population growth, age, gender, health categories, and career attitudes are just a few examples of
social factors. These variables are particularly intriguing because they have a direct impact on
how marketers perceive customers.

The change in life style of the people affects the growing demand of quality product. The change in
lifestyle and need in different demo graphing also affect the demand of the customer. Due to this change
in lifestyle people demand high quality products. GLOBAL SEED LINK try to meet this demand by
having latest machinery.
• Attitude to foreign products and services.
• Lifestyle of people
2.2.5 Technological factors
The country's progress is also hampered by poor infrastructure and communication. Because the
technology in use is outdated, productivity is low. High costs and skilled labor are required for
new technology. Technological Advancement in all sectors of country has changed the entire
socioeconomic environment. Especially in the leather sector there is a lot of technological development.

In the GLOBAL SEED LINK organization there is no human resource department in the
organization which is the main weakness of this organization. Due to this the employees of this
organization are not well trained and organized.

GLOBAL SEED LINK set difficult targets for their employees. Therefore, employees do not
work in pleasant mood. Employees do work with a burden. They do not work with relaxation.
Therefore, some employees join other organization. For example, the company set the target for
their employees to sell 10000 packets of seeds. But some employees cannot achieve his target. In
this condition the employee is not working properly. So, this is also a week point of GLOBAL

obtainment divisions or purchasing offices. These units are much of the time a significant piece
of assisting organizations with meeting their day to day needs and their drawn-out essential
objectives. How much obligation a division has can shift on the size of the organization, yet they
frequently assist with checking the store network and assist with overseeing seller agreements to
stay with the tasks proficient. In my internship I spend most of time in this department. My boss
teaches me very well and we meet different types of groovers.

24
5.2 LEARNING EXPERIENCE DURING INTERNSHIP
 Detail of learning experience
This section highlights the most important lessons learned during the internship programmed.
The programmed lasted 8 weeks in total, during which time participants observed various
business practices in a real-world corporate environment. The programmed greatly aided in the
connection of theoretical book readings with business practices, as well as the improvement of
current skill sets. During the internship, I observed the management practices of various
departments and the collaboration of operations to give the company a competitive advantage.
The programmed also greatly aided in the development of entrepreneurial skills, communication,
and interpersonal skills, as well as customer handling and dealing skills.
The programmed greatly aided in the development of qualifications for understanding various
concepts of business management in a real-world business setting. It was also a fantastic
opportunity to collaborate with a variety of business professionals and experienced individuals in
a team setting and learn from their experiences.
The internship period had been extremely beneficial in terms of understanding book knowledge
in a practical and challenging setting. This report details the duties and responsibilities that I
performed as an intern. Certain questions were asked and answered in the organization by
supervisors for the clarification of concepts as a keen observer of various things, ideas, and
processes. In fact, the internship provided a great opportunity to develop a point of overlap
between theoretical and practical knowledge.
This internship has greatly aided me in learning soft skills and behavioral skills that are required
of all organizations, regardless of size or region. This programmed has assisted me in
maintaining my focus and attention on work overtime, as well as developing relationships with
the company's employees. Apart from that, an effort is made to learn things from a technical
standpoint in order to improve technical skills. The firm's founding history was very possessive,
and it reflected the true passion of an entrepreneur. This internship can also serve as a recruiting
tool for the company, and an intern may receive a favorable offer.

25
 Skill learned
I learned a variety of skills, including entrepreneurship, communication, and interpersonal skills,
as well as customer service and dealing skills. and how to manage various types of people,
particle financial work, different market strategy, marketing mix, such as price, product, place,
promotion, and so on. During the internship, I observed the management practices of various
departments and the collaboration of operations to give the company a competitive advantage.
The programmed also greatly aided in the development of entrepreneurial skills, communication,
and interpersonal skills, as well as customer handling and dealing skills. Now I am able to talk
everyone without fear.

 Attitude values:
I learned how to act in various situations with various types of people. Because everyone is
unique. Many different types of nature were performed by me. And people interact with the
public in accordance with their own personalities.
 Most challenges risk.

Most difficult task I performed many tasks, but the most difficult task for me was manually
recording account records, vouchers, and ledgers at the register. This task was the most difficult
for me because errors are common in these old methods.

5.3 Problem identification:

Currently, the company is facing a lack of ware housing facility for the say ban company
international price fluctuations are becoming difficult to manage with the strategic goals of the
company. The operation of the company is having a very bad impact upon the environment of
the local surroundings. Due to increased economic pressures, it is becoming difficult for the
company to provide relational rewards and more facilities for the labor. There is no mess or
medical services for employees at say ban group whereas other big competitors such as pioneer
seed are providing such facilities to labor. Currently, the company has expertise and is primarily
focused on making seed-related products, but switching to fashion ware, based on customer
demand, may make it difficult for them to maintain and operate in the future.

26
5.4 Suggestion:-
o Move to the most up-to-date technology system
o Fully utilize available resources
o Remove loose tolls and old spindle machines that are "white elephants"
o Proper incentive plan for workers and employees
o Proper quality control to increase demand
o Proper control on manufacturing costs, which are too high
o Proper control on financial expenses •
o Proactive measures for workers and machinery should be introduced
