Slide 1:

Good afternoon sir Edel and Classmates, so yung na assign sakin na topic is about Workshop and
working group.

SLIDE 2 :
The first thing na ididiscuss ko na Methods of Implementing Learning and Development Programs, is
the Workshop. So , what is WORKSHOP? There are probably as many answers to this question as
there are workshops and workshop presenters but, in general, Workshop is a gathering in which a
group of people with interests, expertise, or professions in a particular field, that are actively involved in
intensive discussion and research on a specific topic or project. The main objective is to increase the
expertise of each individual who attends the event on material related to group work. So yung workshop
ay designed to teach or introduce sa mga participants ng practical skills , mga tecniques , or yung mga
ideas na magagamit nila sa trabaho at sa araw araw.

SLIDE 3
So may common features pala yung workshops, iisa isahin nalang natin.

1. They're generally small, usually from 6 to 15 participants, , allowing everyone some

personal attention and the chance to be heard
2. They're often designed for people who are working together, or working in the same
field.
3. They're conducted by people who have real experience in the subject under discussion.
4. They're often participatory. Ibig sabihin , kailangan ng participation and to give
direction to the workshop at ma practice yung techniques, skills na ididiscuss.
5. They're informal; there's a good deal of discussion in addition to participation, rather than
just a teacher presenting material to be absorbed by attentive students.
6. They're time limited, although some may involve multiple sessions over a period of
time, pero madalas single session lang or once a week, or yung 2 full day session over a
weekend.
7. They're self-contained. Although a workshop may end with handouts and suggestions for
further reading or study for those who are interested, the presentation is generally meant
to stand on its own, unlike a course, which depends on large amounts of reading and
other projects (papers, presentations) in addition to classroom activities.

SLIDE 4 :WHY WOULD YOU GIVE A WORKSHOP?

SO BAKIT NATIN KAILANGAN MAG WORKSHOP?
BAKIT HINDI NALANG IBANG METHODS, TULAD NG MGA NAUNANG NA DISCUSS?
BAKIT HINDI NALANG SEMINAR, TRAINING OR ON THE JOB TRAINING? Because
there are a number of different ways to teach people things, and because people learn
things in different ways, a workshop has some advantages (and some disadvantages, too,
most notably the lack of time it provides) over these other methods that make it a good
choice in certain circumstances
