ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

I. INTRODUCTION

What is Environmental Protection?

I. Introduction

In this study the students will learn ways to help nurture our environment and also prevent disastrous
calamities that might happen .

is the practice of protecting the natural environment by individuals, organizations and governments. Its
objectives are to conserve natural resources and the existing natural environment and, where possible,
to repair damage and reverse trends.

II . LEARNING OBJECTIVES/OUTCOMES

The aim of environmental education is clearly to show the economic, social, political and ecological
interdependence of the modern world, in which decisions and actions by different countries can have
international repercussions. To provide students with informed perspectives on biological and physical
processes relevant to environmental problems, to help students understand responsible environmental
policy and practice, and to engage students in ethical reflection regarding environmental problems in
local, regional, national, and global communities.

Students will be able to: Identify and explain environmental concerns after completing this lesson.
explain easy environmental protection measures that anybody can adopt. Discuss how pPropolitical
activity can help people become more aware of environmental issues.

III. MATERIALS/RESOURCES

Here the focus is on “material resources” that designate the usable materials or substances (raw
materials, energy) produced from natural resources. These usable "materials" include energy carriers
(gas, oil, coal), metal ores and metals, construction minerals and other minerals, soil and biomass.

Oil, coal, natural gas, metals, stone and sand are natural resources. Other natural resources are air,
sunlight, soil and water. Animals, birds, fish and plants are natural resources as well. Natural resources
are used to make food, fuel and raw materials for the production of goods

IV. LESSON PROPER

This Study will teach students to save lives , help decrease natural disasters, protect environment and
many more .

V. ACTIVITIES

There are many activities for us to do for example :


1. Proper Waste Management

2 . Volunteer. Volunteer for cleanups in your community. ...

5. Choose sustainable

7. Use long-lasting light bulbs

VI . ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION

Because of the natural disasters that are happening in our society today students are more eager to help
restorw our nature ,they are more engaging in community clean up drives , practicing proper waste
Management and more .

VII. SUMMARY

Our natural environment makes human life possible, and our cultural environment helps define who we
are. It is therefore essential that our population and economic growth are environmentally sustainable.
