Thus, this study is conducted to showcase that mango shoot is

not just a décor of tree but rather a nutritious ingredient. Also, it is
actually an ongoing process of correcting and refining hypothesis,
which should lead to the acceptance of mango shoot as substantial
edibles as the pancake and its scientific truth.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Research Design

This descriptive type of research is an approach to quantitative

research using a survey questionnaire. This method involves the gathering
of data regarding the reactions to a certain product. According to Shona
McCombes (2019), descriptive research aims to accurately and
systematically describe a population, situation or phenomenon. In this
method, a set of questions was administered. The respondents were profiled
according to their age, gender, civil status and ethnicity. Survey
questionnaires are provided regarding the research in order to fulfil the
needed data. Subsequently, their responses were to assess the product the
product development and acceptance level of mango shoot pancake.
Hedonic Scale is shown in the table below.

Sources of Data

The target respondents of this study were mainly the 25 students in

BSCRIM Department and 25 students in BSHRM with the total of 50
respondents whom are equally divided as to their gender, males and females
and enrolled with entrepreneur subject. Questionnaires were distributed to
different populations to avoid bias.

Data Collection

A letter requesting permission to survey questionnaires was hand-

carried to the selected students. Surveying, actually involves gathering
responses from subjects through a structured questionnaire.

Perceiving Questionnaire Validation of Data

Respondents Distribution through Interview

Sampling Technique

The study employed a purposive sampling technique, also called

judgement sampling, is the deliberate choice of an informant due to the
qualities the informant possesses. It is a nonrandom technique that does not
need underlying theories or a set number of informants. Simply put, the
researcher decides what needs to be known and sets out to find people who
can and are willing to provide the information by virtue of knowledge or
experience (Bernard 2002, Lewis & Sheppard2006).(latest source) The
researchers consider factors that might influence the population so they
purposefully select a sample that adequately represents the target
population on these variables.

In the analysis of data, the statistical tools used are frequency and
percentage counts, to describe the profiles of the respondents, and the
mean, to deter the level of acceptance of the mango shoot pancake.
