- Math requires the ability to define whole numbers and distinguish them from natural numbers.

irrational numbers begins with understanding whole numbers like 0, 1, and 2.

- Because Students who exhibit high levels of behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement
are more likely to achieve academic success, feel more connected to their school, and have
better social-emotional health.

- Better achievement can arise from more positive attitudes, and more positive attitudes can
result from higher achievement. The way that students approach arithmetic can have an impact
on their overall performance. A student's attitude can be used to gauge their values, self-
confidence, enjoyment, motivation, and math anxiety.

- Constructivist - an adherent of a view that admits as valid only constructive proofs and entities
demonstrable by them.
- Inquiry Based- Inquiry-based learning is a form of active learning that starts by posing
questions, problems or scenarios. It contrasts with traditional education, which generally relies
on the teacher presenting facts and their own knowledge about the subject.
- Reflective - relating to or characterized by deep thought; thoughtful.
- Collaboration- is the process of two or more people, entities or organizations working
together to complete a task or achieve a goal. Collaboration is similar to cooperation. Most
collaboration requires leadership, although the form of leadership can be social within a
decentralized and egalitarian group.
