Purpose
To strengthen Australia’s position as a global hub for mining
innovation, and, enhance the global competitive advantage
of the Australian METS industry

Vision
The Australian METS industry has an aligned, efficient and
agile industry ecosystem with a high degree of
collaborative, global leadership in innovation, and a growing
share of the global market
Accelerate 1. Identify and communicate the Industry knowledge gaps that limit the METS sector growth
commercialisation 2. Increase ecosystem collaboration leading to commercialisation growth
of innovation 3. Increase research funding driven to deliver METS commercial outcomes
4. Demonstrate pathways to commercialising innovation

2. Facilitate the translation of relevant world-best business practices into the Australian METS
