The Process Of Butterfly Enlargement

Eggs - in this first stage the butterfly that has matured and fertilized will
produce eggs. Butterfly eggs are very thin, small, shiny yellowish/whitish and
some are cylindrical in shape. On the surface of the egg appear fine bones.
Usually the eggs produced by these butterflies will stick to the leaves or
branches of the tree. This stage can also be known as the developmental stage.
These eggs will mature between 5 to 10 days.
Caterpillars - at this stage the eggs attached to the leaves have matured and
broken, producing caterpillars. The caterpillars are usually long and shaped like
the body of a butterfly but have no wings. At this stage, it is called the stage of
development through nutrition because because the caterpillars will eat and
continue to grow. The caterpillar's food is leaves and the caterpillars will eat a
lot for 2 to 3 weeks. Later, the caterpillars will begin to grow feathers.
Pupa - the third stage occurs in the 3rd week. The process of transformation
will take place, ie the caterpillar will turn into an adult insect structure. At this
stage, the caterpillar will change and hang itself into a cocoon. The cocoon is a
shelter for caterpillars at rest. The caterpillars will rest for 2 to 3 weeks and
continue living until they mature. While in the cocoon, its legs and wings will
be muala shaped.
Butterflies-at this stage, the cocoon that has matured will burst and the mature
butterfly will fertilize, lay eggs and the next life cycle of the butterfly will take
place.
