Acute Effects of Overexposure:
EYE CONTACT CAUSES IRRITATION WITH POSSIBLE BURNING AND BLINDNESS. SKIN CONTACT CAUSES IRRITATION,
REDNESS AND POSSIBLE BURNING. INGESTION CAN CAUSE BURNING TO MUCOUS MEMBRANES OF MOUTH, THROAT
AND ESOPHAGUS. INHALATION CAUSES IRRITATION OF RESPIRATORY TRACT AND LUNG.
Chronic Effects of Overexposure:
THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS CRYSTALLINE SILICA. LONG TERM EXPOSURE OF DUST CONTAINING CRYSTALLINE SILICA
MAY RESULT IN SILICOSIS, A NONCANCEROUS LUNG DISEASE. IARC HAS CLASSIFIED CRYSTALLINE SILICA AS A
GROUP 1 CARCINOGENIC TO HUMANS (1996) .
