Explain Three Types of Air Freight Carriers

Passengers Airline Freight: The Passengers Airline Freight always carrying passengers and
baggage. According to the statistics most of the commercial airlines make 5 to 10% revenue
from the hauling freight. The baggage or luggage shipped on flight packed in special containers
which is fit in storage area of the aircraft e.g. boing 747-400 carry around 5330 cubic feet of
cargo in a flight. Around 2 semi-truck trailers can fit. (Nice)
All-Cargo: there are two types of cargo that are mentioned as:
General Cargo: the cargo that does not fall into special cargo is known as General Cargo. It
also does not required any special handling and precautions during air transport. The items
include in this are retail and mostly consumer goods like tablets, mobile phone etc.
Special Cargo: In special Cargo things are more complicated the things that come in special
cargo have special requirements because they have some special nature, dimensions, some value
etc. the special cargo have special packing documentation etc. (IATA, 2021)
Integrated express operators: In integrated express operators FedEx, UPS and DHL that will
operate fleet scheduled aircraft like trucks and couriers offers. These operators deliver cargo at
their locations. They have networks global and also provide globe coverage. Basically these
cargo carry luggage from point A to Point B. they provide door to door service. (Huang, 2018)
Two Cargo Aircraft Manufacturers are written below:
Airbus: ;
According to the statists the E-commerce demand boosted the cargo industry. The express freight
will grow by 4.7% per year and on the other side the general cargo by 2.7%. According to the
Statists over the next 20 years there will be a huge increase in the demand and the industry will
need 2440 freighters and 880 will be the new build in the industry to counter the condition. The
Airbus produce aircrafts that will provide different aircrafts with different capacities and
capabilities to service the market demand and the supply chain networks to transport the full
capacity of cargo throughout the world. Different types of express packages that will also have
medical supplies. (Airbus , n.d.)
Boeing:
The Boeing Company also produce cargo aircrafts to transfer the luggage. In this context the
Boeing company have added 777-8 Freighter now currently joins the boeing company this
aircraft is most efficient in fuel efficiency for the sustainable future. The 747-8 have high volume
and have also long range 777 Boeing. The rise in E-commerce have also increase in consumer
goods and have a huge demand that’s why in next 20 years the there is a grow of 70% in the
market due to the E-commerce. The Boeings new aircrafts are ready to make the demand
achieve. (Boeing , n.d.)
General Background:
The air freight are known as all the cargo that move through the air except the mail and
passenger baggage is called Air Freight. The Air freight transfer about 1 percent of the total
weight that transport worldwide. The transport have some offers different costs and benefits.
Now history of air cargo before the aircrafts the baggage transfer from balloons and carriers
pigeons. The first cargo moved on 7 November 1910. In this current time the Internet have
opened a platform globaly as a market now it is easy to import and export the import. (Good
