Sub: Administrative approval for the arrangement of vehicle and movement of material

lying at Najafgarh metro depot,Delhi to Bangalore Complex.

Ref:     1. DMRC/RS/NJFX/2022/01-06   dt 15.06.2022.

DMRC vide letter under ref (1) has raised a serious concern over the material lying in
their premises (NJFX Depot) and asked` BEML to vacate the area at the earliest.
Material which is lying in the premises is removed from the train due to various reasons
such as Modifications/ HECPs or component failure. Removed material is of no use at
depot so it is proposed to send back these items to BEML Bangalore Factory.

Consequent to above and to address the issue raised by DMRC, It is therefore

)    1) Management may approve for the movement of materials (As listed in above table)
from Najafgarh Metro Depot, Delhi to Bangalore Complex.

  2)  Upon Management approval RMH is requested to positioning suitable vehicle through our approved
transporter.

The above listed items were either removed from train due to modification or faulty nature, or received in
damaged condition. These items were stored at NJFD till now. Now DMRC is pressing hard to vacate the area
occupied by BEML. 

It is being proposed to move the items to Bangalore Complex.

Effort may be made to explore the possibility to dispose-off the faulty/damaged items (which can't be used
anymore in Trains) at Delhi itself to avoid the transportation charges from Delhi to Bangalore.

It is a rare practice to scrap items and in recent past no such activity has been carried out. Further, at present in
NJFD depot , considerable area is being occupied for storing these items in workshop shed. 

Moreover, there is a huge pressure from DMRC to remove these items without delay from Depot at the earliest
possible.

Therefore, in view of exigency and under present condition, RMH is kindly requested to direct the concerned
logistic agency to take immediate action for arrangement of logistics for shipment of items from Najafgarh
depot.

Further to noting @ 006, Parts will be dispatched to Bangalore complex through approved transporter
and upon joint inspection with T&C, Quality and Production teams regrading usability / non usability of these
parts including actions required for repair (if any), PDOs will be initiated by the designated team at BCX.
