General Instructions
1. In the wake of Covid-19 out-break, you are requested to strictly follow the safety measures and guidelines put forth by Central and State
Governments.
i. Candidates should compulsorily wear masks.
ii. Candidates have to ensure a physical distance of at least one meter in the exam hall and premises.
iii. Only candidates are allowed near the exam centre.
2. Your candidature is Provisional. If, at any stage, it is found that you do not fulfil any of the conditions of eligibility, your candidature will be
cancelled and no appeal against such cancellation will be entertained. The fact that you have been called for the written test does not confer any right
on you to be treated as eligible in all aspects for appointment or to be considered for interview.
3. You should ascertain exact location of the venue well in advance of the date of test.
4. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the written test.
5. Candidates should affix their photograph (taken within six months) in the space provided on the admit card.
6. The candidates are requested to report at the venue before the reporting time.
7. Candidates will not be permitted either to enter the test hall 15 minutes after reporting time or to leave the hall until the test is over.
8. Candidates shall bring only admit card, Identity Proof and Ball point pen with blue or black ink into the test hall.
Articles Banned Inside the Test Hall:

Stationary items: Text material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator ink/gel, scale, writing pad,
pen drive, eraser calculator, log table, electronic pen/scanner
Communication Devices: Mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band. Any metallic items which could be used for
unfair means, for hiding communication devices like camera, Bluetooth device.
Watches: watch/wrist watch, camera watch, smart watch.
Eatables: Any eatable item opened or packed, Water bottle.
Other Items: Handbag, Purse, Pouch, Hat
9. Candidates will not be admitted for the test without producing admit card and any one of the following Original Photo Identity Proof (bearing
photo and address) such as Passport/Voter ID/Driving License/Aadhar Card.
10. The Test consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions covering Indian Economy, Kerala Economy,Kerala Governance, Statutes Relevant to
Industries in the State, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability.. Each question carries one mark.
For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. A separate OMR answer sheet will be given to mark the answers.
11. Each question is provided with four answer choices (a), (b), (c) and (d). You may mark your choice by darkening the bubble corresponding to the
question number using Blue or Black Ball-Point Pen in the OMR Answer Sheet. No other colour pen or pencil should be used.
12. The duration of the written test will be 90 minutes and the medium will be English language only.
13. Read the instructions on the OMR sheet. Do not tamper with the barcode in the OMR answer sheet. Signature should be put in the space provided in
the OMR sheet in the presence of the invigilator.
14. Candidates should return the Admit Card and Question Booklet and OMR Answer sheet to the invigilator before leaving the test hall.
15. Any suspected malpractice or attempt to commit any kind of indiscipline in the test hall will result in disqualification of the candidate.
16. In case you fail to attend the written test, your candidature will be treated as “CANCELLED”. No further correspondence will be entertained in this
regard.
17. The Centre will not be responsible for late/non-receipt of this letter due to any other reason beyond the control of the Centre.
18. Canvassing in any form will result in cancellation of your candidature.
