Breastfeeding gives an optimal nutrition to the baby’s and helps to promote bonding
between the mother and the child
WHO, UNICEF, & DOH recommends that we do exclusive breastfeeding for the 1 st 6
month and to continue after 2 years with the proper complementary feeding.
For the baby:
It provides optimum nutrition for the baby, right after the birth and when the child
get 1 to 4 years old. (tamang nutrition sa baby) Unlike artificial milk, artificial breast
milk substitute na hindi nagbabago ang compositions habang tumatanda ang bata
It has added benefits for anti-bodies which provides as well good protection/
optimum protection against infections. Artificial substitute cannot do that.
