shapes, ages, matter or any kind of
description of a noun at the moment to
explore any object.

 ADVERBS  Identify the usage of adverbs and


apply the rule to add information to
verbs, adjective or other adverbs to

appear in the same sentence.

the subject in a sentence according to
the ability, possibility, obligations or
any advice that is necessary talk about
the noun.

I- ADJECTIVES
Watch
the
videos about the adjectives to understand the usage.
Give 5 descriptions that describe the following nouns. Use the picture as an example to do
the classwork. (Girl, dog, carrot, car, house.) This classwork will be done like a wheel of
fortune with a mobil mechanism. This activity will be used for creativity week.

Write a vocabulary with the antonyms for the following adjectives: ugly, sad, thin,
intelligent, salty, wet, dark, sunny, cold, long, big, old, strong, healthy, noisy, bad,
dangerous, free, asleep, clean, alive, before, open, smooth, sweet. To do in groups one of
those activities and illustrate 5.
Complete the practices on page 35 parts A, B, and C from your student’s book to discuss in
class.
Do the task II on page 38 to identify the healthy and unhealthy foods and fill in the blanks
using the adjectives to complete the paragraph.

II- ADVERBS

Look the videos with the explanation about


the usage of the adverbs and the different
times in which those are divided.
Elaborate a conceptual map to explain the
different types, forms and functions of the
adverbs, adverbial phrases and clauses, order of adverbs, comparative and superlatives
forms, and irregular adverbs in your notebook and illustrate each kind with a picture.
Complete the match, correct the mistakes and complete the passage on page 45 from your
student’s book to discuss in class.
Classwork 3. Workbook pages 19- 20-21 part I, II, and III.
Exercise 1 about Adjectives and Adverbs.

III- COMPARATIVE AND SUPERLATIVE ADJECTIVES

Watch some videos that help you to understand the usage of the comparatives and
superlatives adjectives to interacting in class when the professor is given the lesson.
Discuss some practices on page 82 parts A, B, C from your student’s book in class.
Classwork #4: Oral and writing activity using the blackboard to give
the answer of each question doing by the professor in competence skills.
Classwork 5 Do some activities from your workbook to apply what had learned
about those adjectives. Only you have to do the parts of grammar from your
workbook.

IV- POSSESSION AND CORRELATIVE CONJUNCTIONS


Examples of Correlative Conjunctions
In the following examples, the correlative conjunctions have been
italicized for easy identification.

1. She is both intelligent and beautiful.
2. I will either go for a hike or stay home and watch TV.
3. Jerry is neither rich nor famous.
4. He is not only intelligent, but also very funny.
5. Would you rather go shopping or spend the day at the beach?
Observe and analyse the videos in which appear explanations and additional information to
learn the lesson 2 then answers some questions doing by the professor during the class.
Complete all practices on page 109 about lesson 2-part A, B, C from your student’s book to
discuss in class.
Classwork. 2 Elaborate a puzzle to connect two sentences that have relationship between
them. Do this activity with a lot of creativity and with colourful materials. This activity will
be developed in class.

V- MODAL VERBS
Watch the videos about the modal verbs to understand the usage, the professor is going to
explain each usage of the different verbs and when they could be used in a sentence.
Complete the practices on page 121 parts A, B, and C from your student’s book to discuss
in class with the professor.
Classwork. Do in class some activities from your workbook only the grammar part to apply
what had you learned about the modal verbs.
Writing test sharing by the professor.

Note: if the students do not assist to class they should present a writing excuse and only have 5 days
to bring any test or assignment to avoid a bad average.
