INTRODUCTION
The Republic of the Philippines,
is an island nation located in the
western Pacific Ocean in Southeast Asia
between the Philippine Sea and the
South China Sea. It is an archipelago
consisting of more than 7,000 islands
Historically, the total number of islands
in the archipelago was held to be 7,107,

most part run in the same general
direction as the islands themselves,
approximately north to south. The
archipelago stretches about 1,150 miles
(1,850 km) from north to south, and its
widest east-west extent, at its southern
base, is some 700 miles (1,130 km). The The islands have narrow coastal

CONCLUSION
The Philippines has a tropical
marine climate dominated by rainy and

brings heavy rains to most of the
archipelago from May to October,
whereas the northeast or winter
monsoon brings cooler and drier air
from December to February. With
