Introduction to ITP-5012L
The ITP-5012L IP phone represents a new concept of Internet phone that it uses
an IP address to send/receive voice and data. For voice communication, the ITP-
5012L IP phone uses the data network line already installed in
user’s home or office. There is no need for a new separate telephone line.
Therefore, the users don’t have to spend extra money to install a new phone
line. For those companies and individuals who frequently use international calls
can save a tremendous amount of money. The ITP-5012L IP phone has a large
LCD that displays a large quantity of important information so that the users can
easily search and select any information by using the navigation buttons.
Main Features
If someone The ITP-5012L IP phone has a total of 12 Select buttons that
are configured into two combinations of 6 Select buttons on the left and
right side of LCD panel. If any item needs to be selected from the LCD
panel, the user can simply press the related Select button next to the LCD
panel.
Other than its original call function, this IP phone has various kinds of
convenient functions, such as forward, caller ID service, page and
message, DND, call pickup, and speed dial functions. The user can set up
these functions for further convenient use of the IP phone.

The IP phone has dial buttons, volume buttons that control volume,
conference button that is used for conference calls, transfer button that
transfers a call in conversation to another phone number, hold button that
saves the user’s call for a while, and speaker button. Also, the IP phone has
navigation buttons that guide the users to easily use IP phone functions,
such as directory, electronic diary, send/receive message, volume control,
call forwarding, and executive/ secretary hot line functions. In addition,
there is the screen button to search for other extended functions and the
scroll key that helps the users to read any long text on the LCD panel.
The IP phone has a phone status indicator that indicates any message or
phone arrived. There is LCD that indicates whether each
forward/hold/speaker button is enabled or not and the LCD panel that
presents the call status and other kinds of information.
The name and features of each part of ITP-5012L IP phone will be given in
detail.

Dial Button
The dial buttons are used to enter numbers and characters. They are composed
of [0]-[9] digits, as well as the [*] and [#] buttons. Most of the time Korean and
English letters are used to enter characters. Also, the users can make a call to the
speed dial number by pressing the related dial button for more than 2 seconds.
Select Button
A total of 12 Select buttons are positioned on the left and right side of
LCD panel: 6 Select buttons to each side of LCD panel. To select a specific item
on the LCD panel, the users can simply press the Select button next to that item.
By doing so, the users can save time than moving a cursor by navigation
buttons.
Volume Button
The volume button is used to adjust the volume of the handset,
speakerphone, bell, background music and page. The [] button lowers the sound
volume and the [] button makes a louder sound volume.
Screen Button
The ITP-5012L IP phone interoperates with the OfficeServ system to provide the
users various kinds of expanded functions for convenient use. This Screen button

Conference Button
This button is used to make a conference call among a group of people up to 5
people, including the user. If this button is pressed in waiting mode, the setup
screen for a conference call will appear on the LCD panel. The conference
participants can be selected from the PhoneBook, or their phone numbers can be
entered directly.
Transfer Button
If this Transfer button is pressed during a call, the setup screen for call transfer
appears on the LCD panel. This button is used in the following cases:
Hold Button
The hold button is used to save a call without hanging-up on the current call.
Speaker Button
This is used when the user makes a call or speaks on the phone by using a
speaker. The user can answer the phone by pressing the [Speaker] button or the
[Send] button. To change from the telephone handset to the
speakerphone, press the [Speaker] button and put the handset down.

Navigation Button
This button is made in order to help the user easily utilize various features of the
IP phone.
Menu Button
This button displays the main menu, which is configured in icons, so that the
users can easily utilize various settings and helpful functions.
Send Button
After pressing the other party’s phone number with dial buttons and then
pressing the Send button, the IP phone tries to connect a call. This button is used
when checking the recently received or called numbers and answering forwarded
calls. Also, if this button is pressed for more than 2 seconds, the last call can be
redialed.
Enter Button
This button is used to select or to save the relevant item on the menu mode.
Direction button
This button is used to edit any characters (entering or canceling) on the LCD

This button is used to move the cursor upward in the menu mode or to
move to the previous item from the currently displayed item.
[ ] Button
This button is used to move the cursor downward in the menu mode or to
move to the next item from the currently displayed item.

This button is used to move the cursor to the left in the menu mode.
[ ] Button
This button is used to move the cursor to the right in the menu mode.

This button is used to erase any characters or numbers entered by the dial
button, or to move to the previous screen.

Main Screen
The Main screen displays various application processes including their results
and various kinds of information other than those on the Status screen.
Scroll Key
When the multiple lines of text on the LCD panel exceed the LCD size, the users
can scroll the text up and down using this scroll key.
Microphone
At right next to the speaker button of the IP phone, there is a microphone that
looks like a small hole. The users can speak through the microphone instead of
the handset. To do so, press the speaker button first.
Status Indicator
The status indicator is positioned above the upper right side of the LCD panel.
The indicator shows the IP phone status in 2 colors, such as red and blue.
PC Connection Jack
For the power port of ITP-5012L IP phone, the power adapter that came

To the recording device line-out jack, any general recording device can be
connected. The users can connect the tape recorder to record any telephone
conversation.

If any of the parts explained above is missing, please contact the reseller.
1. First, connect the handset to the handset connection jack at the bottom of the
IP phone.
2. To add the phone support to the ITP-5012L IP phone, insert the support into
the left/right holes that are located in the upper section of the bottom panel.
3. Connect one end of the LAN cable (Disconnect it from PC first while its the
other end is still connected to the network system) to the LAN connection
jack on the rear side of ITP-5012L IP phone.

connect it to the REC connection jack at the bottom of the IP phone.

moved to the sub menu of the selected menu or when saving the modification.

the setting mode.
[End] Button of navigation buttons: Used when moving to the upper menu
from the current menu or when canceling the modification.

Setting Environment
Select each menu for environment setting, set the user-friendly environment for
the ITP-5012L IP phone.
Network Set/Modify
From the environment-setting menu, ‘2.Network’ is used to set or modify the
network environment. After selecting the ‘2.Network’ menu from the LCD panel
and moving to its sub menu, the LCD panel will show the following message:

After selecting ‘1.Mode’ and moving to its sub menu, the LCD panel will show

If ‘1.Manual IP’ is selected, the user can directly enter the IP address, subnet

If ‘2.DHCP’ is selected, the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway value will
be set to the default values automatically.
Setting IP Manually
If ‘1.Manual IP’ is selected, the following sub menu will be displayed on the LCD
panel.

The user directly enters the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS address
as follows:
If the ‘2.IP’ menu is selected, the LCD panel will show the following message
and the user can enter its IP address.

Check if there is any currently saved IP address of the phone on the LCD panel. If
the IP address has not been set, the LCD panel shows nothing. The user can enter
the IP address by using [0]~[9] dial buttons and [*] button and can save that IP
address by pressing the [Enter] button of navigation buttons.

If the ‘3.Netmask’ menu is selected, the LCD panel will show the following
message and the user can enter a new Netmask IP address.

Check if there is any currently saved subnet mask address of the phone on the
LCD panel. If the subnet mask address has not been set, the LCD panel will show
nothing. Press any dial buttons from [0]~[9] and [*] button to enter the subnet
mask IP address and then save that subnet mask IP address by pressing the [Enter]
button of navigation buttons.
If the ‘4.Gateway’ menu is selected, the LCD panel will show the following
message and the user can enter a new gateway address.
The user can check if there is any gateway IP address of the phone that is currently
saved on the LCD panel. If the gateway IP address has not been set, the LCD
panel will show nothing. Use any dial buttons from [0]~[9] and [*] button to enter
the gateway IP address and save it by pressing the [Enter] button of navigation
buttons.
‘2.Network’, those items, such as ‘IP’, ’netmask’, and ‘gateway’, will not be

can select ‘2.File System’. Then, the program saved in the flash memory will
start operation.
The file system here means the flash file system existing in the flash memory. If
‘1.tftp server’ is selected from the sub menus, the program saved in the flash
memory doesn’t operate. Instead, the program existing in the tftp server will be
downloaded to RAM and start operation. Therefore, the user must use the file

address of TFTP server that the user wants to upgrade and then press the

The ‘4.Format’ menu is used to delete the setting values on the program or its
relevant flash information.

The ‘1.Server IP’ menu is used to set or modify the IP address of the
authentication server. If moved to its sub menu, the LCD panel will show the
following message:

Check if there is any currently saved IP address for the authentication server on
the LCD panel. If IP address has not been set, the LCD panel will show nothing.
The user can enter the server IP address by using any dial buttons from [0]~[9]
and [*] button and then save it by pressing the [Enter] button.

‘2. ID’ and ‘3. Password’ are the user information to access to the server.

ID is allowed for a maximum of 16 letters. Both English letters and numbers can
be used. (Not distinguishing capital/lower case letters.)
Password is allowed for a maximum of 8 letters and only numbers will be used.
When entering numbers, they appear as asterisks (*) on the screen.
The user shall set correct ID and password to use the phone and it is recommended
to ask the system administrator of Enterprise IP solutions for ID and password
before setting.
Completion of Settings
After completing each environment setting, select the ‘1.Information’ menu to
check the setting status. Select the ‘5.Exit’ and then the new setting values will be
saved. The ITP-5012L IP phone will start rebooting automatically.

Please take the time to examine the usages of various buttons of the ITP-5012L
IP phone before actually using the phones. Refer to ‘Chapter 1’ of this manual,

Speed Dialling
The telephone numbers stored in the ITP-5012L IP phone are assigned to each
speed dial number. The user can personally assign the speed dial number,
otherwise the speed dial number will be assigned automatically.

1. Press and hold the speed dial number of the desired telephone number with the
initial screen of the phone displayed.
2. When the speed dial number consists of more than two digits, briefly press the
digit or digits other than the last digit, and press and hold the last digit.
3. The user can make a call through the speakerphone. User can switch from the
speakerphone to the handset by lifting the handset.

adjust the speaker volume.

displayed, press the [Send] button, and follow the procedure of “ Dialing from
Recent Call Log”. User can make a call by pressing the speed dial number with

Answering Calls
1. When a call arrives, the bell rings, and a call receipt message as given in the
figure below will be displayed on the LCD panel.
3. Press the [Speaker] button to call through the speakerphone. While calling
through the speakerphone, the user can switch from the speakerphone to the
handset by lifting the handset.

Conference Calls
By pressing the [Conference] button with the initial screen of the phone displayed,
multiple callers can be connected at the same time. The Conference feature
supports up to 5 callers (Intercom & C.O.lines), including the user. The
Conference screen is displayed as shown below.
Press the [Group] button when the [Conference Group] screen is displayed,
and select the numbers from the address book, or directly enter the group
number.
After selecting or entering the desired group, press the [Send All] button to
achieve ‘Conference connection’ status.

Load Group
With the [Conference Group] screen displayed, press the [Group] button to display
the [Load Group] screen as shown below.
Connecting Conference.
After selecting or directly entering the conference group, press the [Send All]
button to attempt ‘conference connection’.
Screen Features
The ITP-5012L IP phone offer various user-convenient expanded features by
interlocking with the system.
Press the [Screen] button with the initial screen of the phone displayed. The basic
screen (calendar image), AOM screen, Soft Menu screen, and the Executive status
display screen are displayed consecutively.
The user can use features set in the MMC program such as various feature
speed keys, message return/deletion and other expanded features.
The user can connect to the selected number by pressing the [Select] button

Soft Menu
Press the [Screen] button until the Soft Menu is displayed on the screen.
With the Soft Menu screen displayed, the user can use convenient features as
shown below by using the [Select] button.

Executive/Secretary
The user can set the status display feature and the message feature in the phone
where the Executive/secretary feature has been set. The user can use
Executive/Secretary features only in the phone where the Executive/secretary
feature is set. The Executive/Secretary Menu is not displayed in common phones.
1. Press the [Screen] button until the Executive status is displayed on the screen.
2. Set the executive status appropriate to each situation by pressing Select button
of the corresponding item.

Executive/Secretary Message
Messages that are frequently used can be set and used conveniently.
1. Press the [EXE/SECR MSG] button among the Select buttons of the Soft
Screen.
2. This brings up a screen asking the user to select where to send the message.
This screen is not displayed when there is only one executive or secretary.
Select the check box of the desired recipient by pressing the Select button on
the left side of the screen. Up to four recipients can be selected. Press the
[Enter] button.
3. After selecting the recipient, the screen will ask the user to select which
message to send. Press the [Enter] button after selecting the message by using
the direction buttons.
When the user presses the [Menu] button after placing the cursor on the
desired item, a small window pops up. Select [Edit] and press the [Enter]
button. The [Input Message] screen is displayed as shown below. Enter a
message with less than 8 characters.

When the user wants to delete the entered message, select the message and
press the [Menu] button. The Delete/ Cancel menu pops up. Delete the
message by selecting [Delete].

Message
The user can leave messages or cancel/confirm/return messages by using AOM
screen Menu or feature codes.
Leaving Messages
The user can leave a message on another extension when there is no answer or if
the line is busy.
2. Press the Select button of the [Display Message] menu of the AOM screen.
Message Cancel
The user can cancel the message (or the number) left on another station or those
left on the user’s phone.
2. Press the extension number where the phone number (or the message) was left.

3. The extension number of the first message is displayed on the screen, and the
[Message response], [Next message], and [Delete] menus are displayed.
To return the message, press the Select button of the [Return Message] menu.
Then the extension number of the message is connected automatically. If the
extension number does not answer, the red light continues to flash on the status
indicator.
If there are multiple messages left, press the Select button of the [Next
Message] menu, and return or delete the message.
To delete the message, press the Select button of the [Delete] menu.

Press the Select button of each menu displayed on the screen to use the
corresponding feature.
Use the scroll key of the phone to view rest of the menus that are not visible
from the screen.

Last Redial
The user can redial the most recently dialed C.O. line number.
1. Press the Select button of the [LAST REDEAL] menu displayed on the Soft
Menu screen to redial the last C.O. line number.
Automatic Redial/Retry
If the called C.O. line is busy, the phone redials the called number automatically. It
can redial up to 99 times by the preprogrammed interval.
1. Upon hearing the busy tone, press the Select button of the [Automatic
Redial/Retry] menu.
2. The system reserves the line, and redials the same number automatically. The
user can hear the dialing tone through the speaker and microphone is
disabled.
3. When the other party answers, the user shall lift the handset or press the
[Speaker] button or the [Send] button before the other party speaks. The user
must respond within 10 seconds.

Save/Repeat
The user can save the recently dialed number for later use, and redial the number.
1. Press the Select button of the [SAVE/REPEAT] menu before hanging up the
call to save the phone number.
2. The user can redial the saved number anytime by selecting the
[SAVE/REPEAT] menu of the Soft Menu screen
- The saved number is stored in the memory until the user saves another number.
Speed Dial
The user can use the MMC program to register the frequently used telephone
numbers in the personal speed dial list. The user can make a call by entering the
speed dial number without pressing all the numbers of the phone number.
1. Press the Select button of the [SPEED DIAL] menu displayed in Soft Menu
screen.
3. The phone number assigned to the speed dial number is dialed automatically.
Consult your system manager to register the speed dial number since the MMC
Directory
Each extension number/speed dial number has the corresponding directory name.
The extension number or the desired speed dial number can be selected by
scrolling the directory name list, which is in an alphabetical order.
1. Press the Select button of the [DIRECTORY] Menu displayed on the Soft
Menu screen.
3. Enter the first letter of the desired name by using the dial button.
5. Press the Select button of the [DIRECTORY] menu after selecting the desired
name.
To move directly to a directory of the directory list, the user can add an extender
Universal Answer
If a call arrives in the Night mode, external speakers can be used to ring the bell.

Page Pickup
The user can answer the extension or C.O. line call held by a page

The user can page specific extension line subscribers, or externally through
external speakers.
Internal Page
The user can page through the phone speaker.
1. Lift the handset, and check for the phone number entry screen.
2. For the ITP-5012L IP phone, press the Select button of the [Page] Menu
displayed on the Soft Menu.
3. Press the desired zone number [1], [2], [3], or [4], or press [0] to page all
internal zones.
External Page
The user can page externally through the external speaker.
1. Lift the handset, and check for the phone number entry screen.
2. For the ITP-5012L IP phone, press the Select button of the [PAGE] Menu
displayed on the Soft Menu.
3. Press the desired zone number [4],[5],[6],[7],or [8], or press [9] to page all
external zones.
All Page
The user can page both internally and externally through the phone speaker and
the external speaker.
2. For the ITP-5012L IP phone, press the Select button of the [PAGE] Menu
displayed on the Soft Menu.
1. For the ITP-5012L IP phone, press the Select button of the [PAGE] Menu
displayed on the Soft Menu while the user is busy on line.
3. Press the desired page zone number and notify which C.O. line number is
parked.
If the parked call is not answered within the preset time, it will recall the user’s
phone. This Call Park and Page feature does not apply to intercom calls.

Do Not Disturb
When DND is registered, the user can only make calls while incoming calls are
rejected. The procedure for setting and canceling DND is described below.
Setting DND
This feature is used to block incoming calls. Calls can still be made in the DND
mode.
1. With the handset in place, press the Select button of the [DND] Menu
displayed on the Soft Menu.
3. The phone status indicator flashes a light indicating that DND is set.
Canceling DND
Follow the below steps to cancel DND mode, allowing incoming calls to be
connected again.
2. Press the Select button of the [DND] Menu displayed on the Soft Menu.
3. Press the Select button of the [Cancel] button displayed on the screen.
4. The status indicator will not flash a few seconds after [DND] mode is canceled.

Meet Me Page
The user can search the intended recipient of a call through page before making
the call.
2. Press the Select button of the [MEET ME PAGE] menu displayed on the Soft
Menu screen.
4. After the confirmation tone, direct the intended party to press the page answer
code [5][6].
5. Press the Select button of the [Camp on] Menu after “Press Camp on after the
page” is displayed on the screen.
6. When “Wait until the paged party answers” is displayed on the screen, the user
must remain off-hook until the paged party presses the page answer code [5]
[6].
7. The call is automatically connected when the paged party presses the page

Status Message
The user can leave the status message in the extension line, should he or she be
absent for a while. The caller can verify that the user is away by viewing the
message.
1. Press the Select button of the [STATUS MSG] menu displayed on the Soft
Menu.
2. Press the desired status message code. Refer to ‘Annex’ of this manual for the
status messages of each code.
3. To cancel the status message, press the Select button of the [STATUS MSG]
Menu, and press the cancel code [0][0].

In/Out Group
If the user’s phone is assigned to an extension group, the user can assign or
remove the phone to or from the group. When the phone is removed from the
group, the user can answer calls incoming through the extension numbers, but not
those that are incoming through the group number.
1. Press the Select button of the [IN/OUT GROUP] displayed on the Soft Menu.
2. Enter the number of the extension group, to or from which the user intends to
assign or remove his or her telephone number. The [In Group] or [Out
Group] menu is displayed on screen.
3. To assign the user’s telephone number to the group, press the Select button of
the [In Group] Menu displayed on the screen.
4. To remove the user’s telephone number from the group, press the Select button
of the [Out Group] Menu displayed on the screen.
OHVA BLOCK
The user can set OHVA Block to prevent other users from using Off-Hook Page.
1. Press the Select button of the [OHVA BLOCK] menu displayed on the Soft
Menu screen.
2. Press the Select button of the [SET] menu to set OHVA BLOCK
3. Press the Select button of the [Cancel] Menu to cancel OHVA BLOCK.

Off-Hook Page is a feature that is used by a third party to page the user who is
busy.
Timer
Call Duration Timer
The user can set the Call Duration Timer to operate automatic external calls. Upon
dialing the number, the timer is displayed immediately for incoming C.O. calls,
after a moment or when the recipient answers for outgoing calls.
The timer operates during the call. The duration time is displayed in minutes and
seconds, and the timer restarts after 100 minutes
Timer Function
The timer can be used as a simple stopwatch.
1. When the phone is in a waiting status, press the Select button of the [TIMER]
menu displayed on the Soft Menu to start measuring time.
The user should be aware of the functions of each button from the ITP-5012L IP
phone to make use of application functions provided by the phone. For the
Use the direction buttons to select an icon. Then, press the [Enter] button.
Method 1. Use the direction buttons to select an item. Then, press the [Enter]
button.
Method 2. In the list, each item has a number in the left. Press any dial button that
corresponds to the number of the desired item.

Press the [Send] button to dial the selected number.
Press the [Menu] button to change or disable the speed dial number. Then, the
popup menu will appear. Press the dial button [1] to change the speed dial
number to the selected number. Press the dial button [2] to disable the speed

entering any name, all telephone numbers will be displayed.
3. The user can dial the selected number or change/delete/register the number.
Also, the user can check the details of each saved number.

popup menu will appear. Press the dial button [1] to change the selected name.

Editing Groups
This function allows the user to receive the designated ring tone if a call is made
from the selected group.
1. Press the dial button [5] from the [PhoneBook] screen to select the [5.Edit
Group].
1. Press the dial button [6] from the [PhoneBook] screen and select the [6.Delete
all].
2. The screen that prompts the user to enter a password appears. If the user enters
the password set in the phone, the “Do you want to delete all telephone
numbers?” message will appear. Select [Yes] and press the [Enter] button.
Then, all the telephone numbers saved in the [PhoneBook] will be deleted.
If you do not change your password, initial password is 0000. If you don’t

Managing a Schedule
Schedule setting makes an alarm ring for 3 minutes on specific date and time. Up
to 30 schedules can be registered.
The details of the schedule can be up to 32 English characters long. If they are
more than 8 characters long, they are displayed in a slide format.
Any ring tone can be selected.
An alarm can be set to ring an hour before the specific time, 30 minutes before
the time, and on time.
1. Press the dial button [3] from the [E-diary] screen to select the [3.Daily
planner].
2. The [Select a Date] screen appears as shown below. Use the direction buttons
to select dates to be registered. Press the [Enter] button.

Entering Notes
1. Press the dial button [4] from the [E-diary] screen to select the [4.Memo pad].
2. Unless there are no saved notes, the [Memo pad] screen will appear
immediately as shown below. Enter notes and then press the [OK] button.
Checking/Modifying/Deleting/Registering Memo
1. Press the dial button [4] from the [E-diary] button to select the [4.Memo pad].
2. If there is any saved memo, the memo list will appear. Select any memo from

the list and press the [Menu] button. Then, the popup menu (1.New Note,
2.Delete, 3.Delete All) will appear.
Press the dial button [1] to display the screen that prompts you to enter a new
note. Enter a new note and press the [OK] button.
Press the dial button [2] to display the screen that prompts you to delete the
selected note. Select [Yes] to delete the note.
Press the dial button [3] to display the screen that prompts you to delete all
saved notes. Select [Yes] to delete all the saved notes.
3. Select the desired note from the memo list to check the contents of the note and
press the [Enter] button. Then, press the [Menu] button to modify (select the
dial button [1]) or delete (select the dial button [2]) the note.
Using a Calculator
The user can add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers by using the calculator
built in the phone. Learn how to calculate using this calculator.
1. Press the dial button [5] from the [E-diary] screen to select the [5.Calculator].
3. Enter any number to calculate. Then, press the arrow key button to select a
calculation operator.
Press the [#] button to enter negative numbers.
Press the [*] button to enter decimal points.
Press the [Cancel] button to erase incorrectly entered numbers.
4. Enter numbers again and press the [Enter] button to check the calculation
results.
1. Press the dial button [6] from the [E-diary] screen to select the [6.World Time].
3. Press the direction buttons to select the city where the user wants to check the
current time. Check the time and press the [End] button.

D-DAY Plus
D-DAY Plus allows the user to enter an important schedule so that the user can
check the time left until or the time passed from the entered date. The D-DAY can
be entered directly, or can also be entered automatically by calculating the number
of days before/after the entered base date.
1. Press the dial button [7] to select [7.D-Day Plus] from the [E-Diary] screen.
1. Select [D-Day Add] from the [D-Day Search] screen by pressing the [Menu]
button and then pressing dial button [1]. The D-DAY entry screen is

Press the dial button [2] to display the Alarm Setup screen. Press the direction
button to select one of the ‘Once at the D-Day/Everyday after setup/No alarm

D-DAY Check/Add/Modify/Delete
1. Select the preferred D-DAY item from the [D-Day Search] screen by pressing

There are many types of units for temperature, length, weight, volume, and area.
The values of different units are converted as shown below.
1. Select [8.Unit Convert] from the [E-Diary] screen by pressing the dial button
[8].
2. The various items of the [Unit Convert] list screen are displayed.
3. Select the preferred unit item and then press the [Enter] button.

Message

item of his or her choice.
Received Message
The user can check the text/voice messages or set the reception status.
1. Select [1.Received] from the [Text message] screen by pressing the dial button

Unchecked Message
2. To dial the number that corresponds to the received message, select the

Sent Message
Messages can be sent conveniently by Write Message and Draft. In addition,
messages saved in the Sent message box and the Reserved message box can be
resent through the Sent message box function.
1. Select [2.Sent] from the [Text message] screen by pressing the dial button [2].
Write Message
The user can write a new message.
1. Select [1.Write Message] from the [Sent message box] screen by pressing dial
button [1]. Select [1.New message] to display the Write New Message screen
below.
3. This will bring up a screen inquiring whether to save the message. To save the
message in the Text message, select [Yes] and press the [Enter] button.
4. This will bring up a screen inquiring whether to send the message. Select [Yes]
and press the [Enter] button.

Call forwarding
The user can set the Call forwarding option to receive an incoming call with
another phone when the call cannot be received with his or her phone.

Changing a Password
Password refers to 4-digit numbers that is used to protect phone users’ privacy or

[1.Password] and press the [Enter] button.
2. The [Enter password] screen appears as shown below. Enter the currently set 4-
digit password. The entered numbers will be displayed as “*”.

Locking a Phone
This function allows the user to lock any outgoing C.O. line call,
incoming/outgoing calls, and privacy protection key so as to prevent others from
using the phone without permission.

[2.Lock] and press the [Enter] button.

This function allows the user to set a language for the phone.

wants to enter and press the [Menu] button. If the popup menu appears, select
[Modify] and press the [Enter] button. Then, [Enter an Absence Message]
screen will appear as shown below. Enter a message within the range of 8

If the user wants to delete the entered messages, select the messages (16 to 20)
and press the [Menu] button. This will bring a popup menu prompting the user
to delete or cancel the entered messages. Select the menu to delete the
messages.

Entering Characters
The following dial buttons are used for entering characters. Press the
direction buttons to move a cursor. Then, modify or insert the desired characters.
Entering Alphabet

Press the button repetitively until the desired alphabet letter appears.
To enter another alphabet letter from the same button sequentially, enter the
first alphabet letter, wait for about 3 seconds, and then press the button again.
Press the [Cancel] button to delete any characters. Press the [Cancel] button
briefly to delete the character left to the cursor one by one. Press the [Cancel]
button for more than 2 seconds to delete all characters left to the cursor.
Entering Special Characters
1. Press the [Menu] button to select the special character input mode.
2. Then, special characters that can be selected will be displayed on the lower part
of the character input screen.
Press the direction buttons, then select special characters and press the
[Enter] button. Press the direction buttons to select another type of special
characters.
3. To stop entering special characters, press the [Menu] button and move to
another character input mode. Press the [Enter] button to save the entered
messages.
Press the [Cancel] button to delete characters. Press the [Cancel] button for a
short time to delete the character left to the cursor one by one. Press the
[Cancel] button for more than 2 seconds to delete all characters left to the
cursor.
Entering Numbers
Press the dial button displaying the desired number (for more than 2 seconds),
irrespective of character input modes.
