1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The company was named Dandle Enterprise has been established on 20 April
2022 and target to be well known around Malaysia as the product are now one of the
most important things to have in every shop or house. As we all know in 2020, whole
world has been infected with Covid-19. We are aware that everyone is afraid and
always take precautions steps to not be infected with the virus. Because of that, our
company has decided to launch this product which can be easily use and monitored as
it can just be plug on everywhere and ready to use. This product is called self-sanitize
machine. The product has been widely used in some shop as it can just be function by
using sensor mode. As this product has been used around, the shops or houses can
now be worried free about taking care of sanitizing the house frequently, as it can
provide that kind of services. We sell this product with different types of size. Usually
for the house, the small size is enough to sanitize the whole living room or even the
bedroom. The sensor motion of this product can detect movement for 70m away.
Currently, our team are trying to make as a much as profit and find the opportunity to
expand our business. At the end of the day, our company looks forward to continuously
improving quality for the benefit of our customers in order to uphold the company's
mission and to become the first customer's choice brand in constant evaluation that
meets the needs of end-customers.

1.1 INTRODUCTION

Dandle Enterprise is a new company that will provide high quality of home and
shops appliances and provides hygiene services to its clients. Dandle Enterprise is
scheduled to begin operations on April 30, 2022. Dandle Enterprise will be partnership,
owned and operated by Adi Putra bin Mohamat Hani.

The selection of name for Dandle Enterprise based on agreement of


partnership consists of five members of General Manager, Production Executive,
Financial Executive, Administrative Executive and Marketing Executive during first
brainstorm. The members are Muhamad Hafiffy bin Kamaruddin, Adi Putra bin
Mohamat Hani, and Muhammad Syahmi Bin Yusop.

Manufacturing and head office were both located in the same area. Bt 17,
Jalan Lendu Batu, Kampung Lendu, 78000 Alor Gajah, Melaka was the location of the
company's headquarters and manufacturing plant. Dandle Enterprise manufactures the
entire product in-house to ensure high product quality, consistency, and adaptability in
supply and transportation.

The initiate for Dandle Enterprise to produce a good precautions step and hygienic
home and shops appliances is because of the observation towards nowadays. With so
many cases of infected people nowadays, it is a good step for the shops or even the
house owner to have an initiative to build this device in their buildings.
Dandle Enterprise will target small to medium-sized businesses and government
organizations in and around Malaysia, with a particular emphasis on Sabah and
Sarawak state. Dandle Enterprise plans to pursue large contracts with small and
medium-sized businesses.
Since Dandle Enterprise home appliances beneficial towards human health, the plan
to sell these home appliances is not limited towards shop and house owners only but it
is worldwide and can be used for the school compound or even is some small
company.

1.2 COVID-19

In December 2019, our world has been hit by a pandemic wave, the Coronavirus
disease (COVID-19). This is an infectious disease that were caused by the SARS-CoV-
2 virus. The majority of those infected with the virus will have mild to moderate
respiratory symptoms and will recover without the need for medical attention. Some, on
the other hand, will become critically unwell and require medical assistance. Serious
sickness is more likely to strike the elderly and those with underlying medical disorders
such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, or cancer.
COVID-19 can make anyone sick and cause them to get very ill or die at any age.
Due to the fear of being infected by the COVID-19 virus, communities have
been alerted to the importance of healthcare and hygiene. The usage of mask, glove
and hand sanitizer has been world widely applied among the society as part of their
daily routine. Based on the statistic, the stocks regarding healthcare were expected to
have steadily increment beginning in 2020 until 2025 and the market value of the hand
sanitizer were also included.

1.3 SANITIZER

Hand sanitizer, also known as hand antiseptic, hand rub, or hand rub, is a disinfectant
that is applied to the hands to kill common germs (disease-causing organisms). Hand
sanitizers are typically foam, gel, or liquid in consistency. When soap and water are not
available for hand washing, or when repetitive hand washing weakens the natural skin
barrier, they should be used (e.g., causing scaling or fissures to develop in the skin).
Hand sanitizer is used as a basic form of infection prevention in a wide variety of
contexts, from daycare centers and schools to hospitals and health care clinics, and
from supermarkets to cruise ships, despite its inconsistent effectiveness.

1.3.1 SANITIZER MARKET

According to the market research firm Nielsen, hand sanitizer sale in the US
grew 73% in 4 weeks as the Covid-19 outbreak. The demand on the hand sanitizer
also steadily grew as people becomes more aware on the importance of sanitizer in
fighting this covid19. The global hand sanitizer market is expected to reach $1.96 billion
by 2026, according to a report released by Fortune Business Insights, with a CAGR of
6.2 percent over the forecast period. A growing global demand for alcohol-based
sanitizers will be a major growth factor for this market. This expected market revenue,
not only demanded by Malaysia but also including North America, Australia, Europe,
and Asia to Spur Growth.
1.4 APPLICATION OF ELECTRONIC

Due to the covid 19 infection that could occurs within a close contact less than 1 meter
radius, communities have become more traumatize in contacting each other. Every
workplace has announced their new norm which is conducting work via virtual while
maintaining the SOP regarding the number of close contacts in one place. This
precaution was proven effective in reducing the number of covid-19 cases. So, by
combining this benefit with the hand sanitizer, it allows the location or the item to be
periodically secure and clean, slowly gaining the interest of customer. The combination
of electronic device with the sanitizer allows a person, items, product or even a place to
always been sanitized without requiring physical effort which involving close contact
made with the same sanitizer yet used by multiple people.

1.5 MARKET TARGET

Application of sanitizer had been widely applied by the organizations and it doesn’t
limit to any specific work area especially during this Covid-19 outbreak. Furthermore,
by providing a more convenience method on applying the sanitizer, it provides a
personal space feeling to the users making it becomes a must have product in their
possession. However, the main consumer market target would be the convenient store,
office building, and shop lot. This specifically mentioned location, usually traumatized
people as they afraid to enter crowded area. By providing this product on their door
service, it ensures others that this location occasionally sanitized and are safe to enter.
2.0 COMPANY BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE

2.1 SELF SANITIZE DEVICE

Our company Dandle Enterprise is a company specialize in automated sanitizer


dispenser. The product that we are offered consist of a self-sanitized device that are
capable of dispensing sanitizer by itself based on the setting that were made on the
device. This device is customer friendly and easy to use.

Compared to other type of sanitizer dispenser, our product offers wide range of setting
and options. The amount of sanitizer that were required are automatically set-up based
on the setting and nozzle radius which allow efficient usage of sanitizer required to
cover the whole area that need to be disinfected. Furthermore, extension usage of the
sanitizer which could be connect to a bigger tank combined with rechargeable usage of
device, making it a dependable product without requiring constant check-up on the
device.

2.2 SERVICE LINE

Dandle Enterprise self-sanitize device provides a reassurance for our customer


consumer. Tight spacing area, or a place where people easily gather tends to be
avoided during the covid-19 outbreak. By having our self-sanitize device placed on their
shop entrance, it could provide reassurance to their customer that the location is
regularly cleaned and sanitized.

3.0 SHORT- AND LONG-TERM GOALS

3.1 INTRODUCTION TO THE ORGANIZATIONS

i. Company Name

Our company was given by the name of Dandle Enterprise. Dandle is a short form of
name from “dandelion”. Dandle name is chosen because our hand sanitizer will be like
a dandelion flower when being used. Dandle Enterprise was established in 2022 which
consist of 4 members led by Muhammad Hafiffy as a General Manager of the company
that is fully owned by Bumiputra. The company produce sanitizer machine form named
Self-sanitize device. This company located at Alor Gajah. Our location is at Bt 17, Jalan
Lendu Batu, Kampung Lendu, 78000 Alor Gajah, Melaka. The place is very close with
Jnt Alor Gajah. There are also many facilities around our company.

ii. Mission
- The mission of this company is to produce product that satisfies the needs of
customers and develop the product all over Malaysia.

iii. Vision

- The vision of the company is to be a company that has a good market and
produce a high quality of product that will satisfy customers needed. Dandle
Enterprise will be maintained the quality, creativity and affordable price for the
product and give awareness towards human health.

4.0 MARKET ANALYSIS

A hand sanitizer dispensing machine is a hand washing unit that can either be
self-standing or in combination with other hygiene stations. Hand sanitizer dispensing
machines are available in different sizes, price ranges, operation modes, and
capacities. They are installed in public and commercial washrooms. Hand sanitizer
dispensing machines are user friendly and cost effective with lower maintenance costs.
All these features are expected to contribute to the growth of the hand sanitizer
dispensing machine market in the near future.

A rise in health care expenditure and high investments by companies in R&D to


introduce new products are driving the global hand sanitizer dispensing machine
market. The adoption of hand sanitizer dispensing machines is on the rise among end-
users such as schools & universities, shopping malls, cafés & restaurants, and hotels.
Washrooms at hotels, airports, and offices are equipped with sanitizing machines that
not only look stylish, but also use minimum power and offer maximum advantage.
Others factor such as rise in health concerns and increase in the number of hotels and
restaurants are expected to augment the hand sanitizer dispensing machine market

5.2 UNIT OUTPUT / HOURS OF OPERATION

The Dandle Enterprise is a company that manufactured self-sanitize device. This


company delivered self-sanitize device that very convenient purpose which made it
easy to use or place it at any place whether at home, office, or any building. This
company will operate 7 days per week with 24 hours work time per day and there will
be two shift which is day shift and night shift.
Daily, our production can produce 1500 of self-sanitize device per day.

6.0 MARKETING STRATEGY

6.1 TARGET MARKET

A target market is a group of customers that the business has decided to aim its
marketing efforts and ultimately its merchandise towards. A well-defined target market
is the first element to a marketing strategy. The target market and the marketing mix
variables of product, place (distribution), promotion and price are the four elements of a
marketing mix strategy that determine the success of a product in the marketplace.
Once these distinct customers have been defined, a marketing mix strategy of product,
distribution, promotion, and price can be built by the business to satisfy the target
market. The target markets of the product are focus on:

• Convenient store

• Office building

• Shop lot

• Supermarket
6.2 MARKET SIZE

Market Size is defined as the number of buyers and sellers in a particular market. This
is especially important for companies that wish to launch a new product or service,
since small markets are less likely to be able to support a high volume of goods. Large
markets could bring in more competition.

6.3 COMPETITORS

Competitors is referring to other businesses that offer similar product, substitute or


alternative products or services to the same target market. We have identified some of
our competitors in order to know whom our business is sharing market with and to
develop appropriate marketing strategies to compete with our rival. Apart from that, we
also need to analyse the strength and the weakness of our competitors in term like the

6.5 SALES FORECAST

Sales Forecast is the projection of achievable sales revenue, based on historical sales
data, analysis of market surveys and trends, and salespersons' estimates. Also called
sales budget, it forms the basis of a business plan because the level of sales revenue
affects practically every aspect of a business. Table 5.3 below showed the sales
forecast in 2022.

6.6 MARKETING STRATEGIES

A marketing strategy is a process or model to allow a company or organization to focus


limited resources on the best opportunities to increase sales and thereby achieve a
sustainable competitive advantage. In these marketing strategies, there are 4 element
that need to be considers which called 4P. The 4 elements are:

• Identification, selection, and development of a Product.

• Determination of its Price.

• Selection of a distribution channel to reach the customer's Place.

• Development and implementation of a Promotional strategy.

These 4 elements have its own specialty and detail about how the product is
commercialize or sell to the customers. The marketing strategy also can be short list as
Product, Price, Place and Promotion.

1. Product

Product that has been commercialized is Self-sanitize device. This product is


capable of dispensing sanitizer by itself based on the setting that were made on
the device. This device is also customer friendly and easy to use. There are 3
different sizes of Selfsanitize device which are large, medium, and small.

2. Price

Pricing is the process of determining the value of the product to the customer at
amount of money in term of ringgit Malaysia and cents. Once services have
been given, the values of the services and product need to be determined. The
prices strategy is important to make sure that the company would provide a
reasonable price to the customer while to ensure that company can gain profits
from the sales. The price that has been offered for Self-sanitize device is only
RM 80 per unit for a large size. For medium size is RM 50 per unit and small
size is RM 30 per unit. It is very reasonable price that can be owned by
everyone. The customer can get more satisfaction and convenient to everyday
used.

3. Place

The place for the distribution of Self-sanitize device is focused on the


supermarket such as Mydin, Tesco and Giant. Furthermore, it also focusses on
convenience stores like Family Mart, Starbucks, McDonald and many more.
Besides, office building also one of the focus places. As we know nowadays,
people love to buy anything via online mechanism for example in Shopee,
Instagram and many else. Thus, in order to increase our production, we have
chosen to open one Instagram profile so that we sell our products there. The
place was chosen because this place is the centre attraction of people.

4. Promotion

Many ways of promotion that has been used to promote Self-sanitize device.
The promotion is by advertising the product using billboards such as at highway
and other main roads. Then, the product also is advertised through online or
web. The product also can be ordered from the website of Dandle Enterprise.

7.3 MATERIAL REQUIREMENT

There is material needed to made self-sanitize device such as, dispenser


compartment, sensor, pump and nozzle spray. Table 6.1 shows the price for each
material.
