GLITCH
Step one

First open your image and

ensure there is a pattern
layer.
Step two

Go to layer button and select

duplicate layer to duplicate
the image.
 Move the subject copy above the
pattern layer and make sure the
pattern layer is visible.

Step three Then hold ALT and right click

on the gap between the subject
copy and the pattern to create a
Clipping Mask.
Step four

Then select the move tool and

select and move the subject copy
layer to the side and/or up to
create the glitch affect. Then crop
around the image where the
pattern layer is exposed.
