Topic : Advocating the health effects of Hypertension


Location: Community

Definition of terms:

A blood pressure of 140/90 or higher. Hypertension usually has no symptoms. It can harm the arteries and cause an increase in the risk of stroke, heart attack,
kidney failure, and blindness. Also called high blood pressure.

Purpose: The people can be advocate for in order to bring more awareness, preventive services and quality interventions and clinical care.
Goals: To manage hypertension that can maintain the patient's normal blood pressure and identify and treat all reversible risk factors.
