IKITSUKI BRIDGE

The Ikitsuki Bridge is a continuous truss bridge that


connects Ikitsuki to Hirado Island. Completed in 1991, it
has a main span of 400 meters. It is the longest
continuous truss bridge in the world

EIFFEL TOWER

Eiffel Tower has been a powerful and distinctive symbol


of the city of Paris, and by extension, of France. At first,
when it was built for the 1889 World's Fair, it impressed
the entire world by its stature and daring design, and
symbolized French know-how and industrial genius

THE KUGGEN BUILDING


Found on the campus of Chalmers University of
Technology, the structure was completed in 2011.
The unusual building is made to preserve the
energy and even makes use of a daylight: the
triangular windows direct the light deep into the
building thus enlightening the bigger area inside.

PARKROYAL on Pickering, Singapore the hotel, situated in one of the busiest cities in

SHANGHAI NATURAL MUSEUM
The museum has opened just recently and it won’t fail to surprise
the visitors. The inner oval shaped courtyard would look like from
hundreds of years ago if not for the metal structure surrounding
it. The exhibit features a plethora of various specimens from all
around the worlds and allows to learn about nature.

THE BOW (SKYCRAPER)

The 236meter (774 ft) building is currently the second tallest


office tower in Calgary, since construction of Cenovus'
Brookfield Place; and the third tallest in Canada outside
Toronto. The Bow is also considered the start of
redevelopment in Calgary's Downtown East Village.

MuCEM, MARSEILLE FRANCE
The Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilization
houses an important collection of the Mediterranean civilization.
Besides its cultural significance, MuCEM is also an impressive
structure, an architectural creation by Rudy Ricciotti. The
building is situated on the Old Port of Marseille and is
overlooking another great building – the historic Fort Saint-Jean.
Both buildings are connected with a bridge.

EGYPTIAN PYRAMIDS
The Egyptian pyramids are ancient masonry structures located in
Egypt. Sources cite at least 118 identified "Egyptian" pyramids.
Approximately 80 pyramids were built within the Kingdom of Kush,
now located in the modern country of Sudan. Of those located in modern Egypt, most
were built as tombs for the country's pharaohs and their consorts during the Old and
Middle Kingdom periods.

THE CADET CHAPEL

The Cadet Chapel in Colorado Springs, Colorado, was constructed in


1962 for the United States Air Force Academy and includes 6 different
sections: the Protestant chapel, the Catholic chapel, the Jewish
chapel, the Buddhist chapel, the Falcon Circle, and an all-faiths rooms
for smaller religious congregations. The seventeen spires that top the
chapel are the most impressive feature the building has to offer. Each
spear pierces the Colorado sky at 150 feet in height.

NITERO CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM


Talk about a balancing act! The Niteroi Contemporary Art
Museum located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, sits on cliffside
offering tourists and locals not only a modernized-designed
building to look at, but also beautiful art displays. The building
was built to hover over a pool of water, which creates an illusion
that the building is a flying saucer.
