Kerja sama sub regional BIMP EAGA mencakup :

Di tanda tangani oleh Menteri Perhubungan negara anggota BIMP
EAGA pada tanggal 2 November 2007 di Singapura.

1. Menetapkan 35 pelabuhan sebagai pelabuhan gerbang BIMP-EAGA,


yang akan digunakan untuk mempromosikan dan memfasilitasi
perdagangan maritim dan pergerakan orang di subkawasan tersebut.
2. Mengatur untuk melakukan langkah bersama untuk mempromosikan
dan mempertahankan perdagangan dan pariwisata maritim intra-
EAGA, memfasilitasi masuknya operator pelayaran dan investor, dan
memberikan hak eksklusif sementara untuk layanan pelayaran
perintis.
3. Mengembangkan dan memformalkan mekanisme yang akan
memungkinkan saling pengakuan dan pemantauan standar
keselamatan, persyaratan keamanan, perlindungan lingkungan, dan
pengawakan kapal dari kapal berukuran non-konvensional, yang saat
ini mendominasi jalur laut EAGA.
