I. Introduction:

In every game, there will always a winner and a loser. That


means we must anticipate that we might win or lose. Remember, a
good sport indicates a good attitude towards playing. This module
will help the learner instill good sports attitudes when playing.

II. Learning Objectives:


Through this module, you are expected to:
1. know the different sports values, and

2. recognize the importance of sports values when playing.

IV. Discussion:
A good attitude toward sports indicate good sports values. So
one must always wear that smile on their face no matter what the
circumstances may bring.

Last week we have discussed some sports values and today we
will continue to add more so that we will be fully equipped with these
different values before, during, and after the game.
Additional good sports values are as follows:
1. Decision Making – Ability to think fast and decide properly.
2. Patience and Determination – Waiting for the right time and
being passion-driven.
3. Camaraderie and Sportsmanship – Treating your friends and
opponents as equals and friends even after the game.
4. Honesty – Avoid cheating just to win the game.
5. Positive Outlook – Having a sound mind and happy
disposition.

You are an artist! Of course! A good game will lead to a clean


game. There will be no accidents, injuries and even fighting among
different teams. It will be a fun game and everybody is in high spirits
to win the game.

V. Generalization
There are different sports values that we must instill within
ourselves to enjoy the game we are playing. These values will
improve our character especially when dealing with failure and
success.

The remaining sports values being discussed are decision-making,


patience and determination, camaraderie and sportsmanship,
honesty, and lastly, positive outlook.
