Profile/Historical Background: Brgy. Benolho has lots of spring water. During the Spanish time residents dug a hole in the ground
(locally called buho) to from a spring where they got their daily supply of water. One time a
Spaniard passed by and he saw a “buho”. He asked one of the natives what is it? And the native
replied “binuho” but the Spaniard pronounced it Benolho. So, the people named it Benolho so that
the Spaniards can pronounce it easily.

Barangay Vision: To make brgy. Benolho as one of the most productive, crime free, sports oriented and cleanest brgy.
In the municipality of albuera and also to make brgy. Benolho a center of excellence within the next
two years.
Barangay Mission: Brgy. Benolho sess itself to give its constituents security, sports, facilities, health assistance annd
other needs with the fastest response and quality of service they deserve.
