TAJ MAHAL

Agra’s Taj Mahal is one of the most famous buildings in the world, the mausoleum of Shah
Jahan’s favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is one of the New Seven Wonders of the world, and one
of three World Heritage Sites in Agra.

Completed in 1653, the Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal king Shah Jahan as the final resting
place for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Finished in marble, it is perhaps India’s most
fascinating and beautiful monument. This perfectly symmetrical monument took 22 years (1630-
1652) of hard labour and 20,000 workers, masons and jewelers to build and is set amidst
landscaped gardens.

JAIPUR
Jaipur is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan in Northern India. It was
founded on 1727 by Maharaja Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amer after whom the city is named. As of
2011, the city has a population of 3.1 million, making it the tenth most populous city in the
country. Jaipur is also known as the Pink City of India

SIKKIM
Sikkim is a state in East India in the Himalayan foot hills also bordering China (Tibet), Nepal and
Bhutan.The name has been coined from the words 'Su','Him'i.e. beautiful home.Though it should
be better named by abode of nature.The snow covered mountains & lush green valleys not only
invigorates one's soul,it also leaves the spectators bewildered by the extravaganza of its natural
beauty. Nearly 40% of the total area is forested.

SNAKE CHARMING

Snake charming is the practice of pretending to hypnotize a snake by playing an instrument called
pungi or bansuri. A typical performance may also include handling the snakes or performing other
seemingly dangerous acts, as well as other street performance staples, like juggling and sleight of
hand. The practice is most common in India, though other Asian nations such as
Pakistan ,Thailand, and Malaysia are also home to performers. Although snakes are able to sense
sound, they lack the outer ear that would enable them to hear the music. They follow the pungi
that the "snake charmer" holds with their hands. The snake considers the person and pungi a threat
and responds to it as if it were a predator.

Aloo Gobi
is a dry Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Indian and Nepali cuisine dish made with potatoes (aloo),
cauliflower and Indian spices. It is yellowish in color, due to the use of turmeric, and occasionally
contains curry leaves.

Cham-cham
is a traditional Bengali sweet originated from Porabari, Tangail, Bangladesh. It is a very popular
dessert in Bangladesh & India. The cuisine comes in a variety of colors, mainly light pink, light
yellow, and white. It is also coated with coconut flakes as a garnish. The sweet is of oval shape
and brownish color.

Vindaloo
is an Indian curry dish popular in the region of Goait is known globally in its Anglo-Indian form
as a staple of curry house menus, often regarded as a fiery spicy dish, though it is not necessarily
the spiciest dish available.

Chapati
Chapatis are made using a soft dough comprising Atta flour, salt and water. Atta is made from hard
Gehun (Indian wheat, or durum). It is more finely ground than most western-style wholewheat
flours. Traditionally, roti and rice are prepared without salt to provide a bland background for
spicy dishes
