If a number is added by 2, divided by 3, multiplied by 5, subtract 7 from it, and divided by 11, then the
result will be 13. What is the number at the beginning?

There is a cuboid with length of 13 centimetres, width of 11 centimetres and volume of 1001 cubic
centimetres. What is its surface area in square centimetres?

value of the product.

6) 圖 6 四邊形 ABCD 中， AB  6 厘米， BC  7 厘米， CD  8 厘米， B  D  90 ，E 是 AD 上的

In quadrilateral ABCD shown in Figure 6, AB is 6 centimetres, BC is 7 centimetres and CD is 8
centimetres. B  D  90 . E is a point lying on AD such that AE is 3 centimetres. What is the area of
quadrilateral ABCE in square centimetres?

greater than 2000, find the minimum value of that number.

有多少種選擇？（相同的一組選手以不同順序出賽也被視為相同的選擇）
After a very strict training, 3 out of 12 athletes are injured. How many choices for the coach to choose 3
out of the remaining athletes to participate in 100 metres sprint? (Same group of athletes in different
sequences are still defined as the same choice.)

Amy, Bella and Chris had eaten 403 biscuits in total. Given that twice of the quantity of biscuits Amy had
eaten is equal to 3 times of the quantity of biscuits Bella had eaten. Twice of the quantity of biscuits Bella
had eaten is equal to half of the quantity of biscuits Chris had eaten. How many biscuits had Chris eaten?

12) 一列長 156 米的客運火車經過一根電線桿需要 6 秒，它與一列長 313 米的貨運火車在平行路軌相

向而行，車身互相經過的時間為 7 秒。貨運火車每秒行駛多少米？
A passenger train 156 metres long passes through a pole in 6 seconds. This train and a cargo train 313
metres long run on parallel tracks in the opposite directions. They cross each other in 7 seconds. How
many metres does the cargo train travel per second?

13) 分針和時針在下午三時互相垂直，在 x 分鐘後它們再次互相垂直，已知 x 不是整數且小於 60，求 x

的值。
Hour hand and minute hand are perpendicular to each other at 3 o’clock. They become perpendicular to
each other again x minutes later. Given that x is not an integer and x is less than 60, find the value of x.

14) 2019324 是一個 2 的倍數，如果 A 是 3 的倍數，B 是 5 的倍數，C 是 7 的倍數，D 是 11 的倍數，E

是 13 的倍數，而且 2019324  A  B  C  D  E ，求 E 的最小值。
2019324 is a multiple of 2. If A is a multiple of 3, B is a multiple of 5, C is a multiple of 7, D is a multiple
of 11, E is a multiple of 13, and 2019324  A  B  C  D  E , find the minimum value of E.

15) 2019 是一個沒有重覆數位的四位奇數。在所有自然數中，有多少個沒有重覆數位的四位奇數？

2019 is a four-digit odd number with no repeating digits. Among all the natural numbers, how many
four-digit odd numbers have no repeating digits are there?

A boat travels between two piers. If it takes 8 hours to travel downstream and 12 hours to travel upstream
from one pier to another. Given the speed of river is 4 kilometres per hour, what is the distance between
these two piers?

19) 把一個長 135 厘米，闊 108 厘米，高 72 厘米的長方體分割成很多一樣的小正方體，當中沒有剩餘

的材料。若因此分割成 38880 個小正方體，那麼小正方體的總表面積是多少平方厘米？
Cut a cuboid, which is 135 centimetres long, 108 centimetres wide and 72 centimetres high, into identical
small cubes without any remaining materials. If finally there are 38880 cubes cut from it, what is the total
surface area of these small cubes in square centimetres?

In parallelogram ABCD shown in Figure 20, E and F are points on AB and BC respectively such that
AE : EB  2 : 3 and BF  FC . If AF and EC intersect at point G and the area of triangle AEG is 210
square centimetres less than the area of triangle FCG, what is the area of the parallelogram ABCD in
square centimetres?
