EXCERPT FROM THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BARANGAY COUNCIL for THE PROTECTION OF
CHILDREN OF BARANGAY VI held last June 11, 2021 9:00 O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING at BARANGAY HALL of
BARANGAY VI, VICTORIAS CITY NEGROS OCCIDENTAL.

I. Invocation and singing of National Anthem

II. CALL TO ORDER

The Regular Meeting was called to order by the Punong Barangay Hon. Rolando L. Millan at 9:00 in the
morning.

III. ROLL CALL

The Presiding Officer asked the Barangay Secretary to call the roll. Thereafter, a quorum was declared
to be present.

IV. The Punong Barangay greeted all the members of the BCPC

V. AGENDA: CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES

REQUEST TO PURCHASE FREEZER FOR DAY CARE CENTER -

FEEDING PROGRAM FOR BARANGAY VI CHILDREN DURING CHILDRENS CELEBRATION
PROVIDING RICE ASSISTANCE TO INDIGENT CHILDREN IN CONFLICT WITH THE LAW AND
TO THEIR FAMILY

VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS / BUSINESS OF THE DAY

SB Member Krishna Bitar reported that currently Barangay VI have 2 children at risk from Zone 2 John
Rey Remegio a son of Ana Marie Sazon a mentally ill woman. Thru the assistance of City Administrator
Dino Acuña John2x is now under the care of DSWD.

Also from zone 4 Christopher King Seva 9 years old son of Mark Seva was found at Bacolod Police
Station and he allegedly reported to them that his Lola pirme gina higot and iya nga tiil and it was also
posted on social media. We have called the attention of his Lola and uncle because his father is at
Guimaras and it was found out that King needs a special care from his parents since he always tries to
run away from his lola who is also very sick. With the help of DSWD he was also sent to their care but
they will have to eventually let him go kay gina pa nuslok niya pirme and mga socket sa center.

To address to King Seva’s need we, together with VAWC Officer Ms. Elma Hinlo had requested his
father to get his son and be under his care.

MS. JOLLY ORELLANES, Barangay Day Care Worker presented to the council that they will be
needing freezer for storage of food that will be used once the Province will start providing ration for day
care students.

MS. ROSEVELY JAMOLA, Barangay Nutrition Scholar inform the council of their incoming feeding
program plan for November during Children’s month.

And also SB Member Krishna Lea Bitar also requested to the Punong Barangay since no direct contact
program is to be implemented she requested the PB since most of our CICL’s are 2015 are indigent
she requested that they will be provided with rice assistance to at least lessen the burden of their
families.

Different suggestion and concerned were also tackled.

 On motion of SK Chairman Christian Dave Armada duly seconded by Mr. Leonardo Laguda, the
meeting was adjourned at 11:05 in the morning.
