EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 004 , SERIES OF 2021

AN EXECUTIVE ORDER ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT

COUNCIL, EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, AND SECRETARIAT OF BARANGAY
MAGSAYSAY, DIFFUN, QUIRINO.

WHEREAS, the local government Code of 1991 confers upon to the Barangay Development
Council as the primary planning unit in determining the over-all development in the barangay,

WHEREAS, said law further outlines and deepened the composition and function of the said
council,

WHEREAS, Sec. 111 (3) of the local government Code of 1991 confers upon to executive
Committee to represent the Barangay Development Council and act in its behalf when it is not
in session,

WHEREAS, said law further outlines and defined the composition and function of the said
Executive Committee and Secretariat,

NOW, I, Punong Barangay ADONIS D. MAGPALI of Barangay Magsaysay, Diffun,

Quiurino by the power vested in me by the law do hereby order the following:

A. ORGANIZATION, COMPOSITION AND FUNCTIONS- BARANGAY

● Mobilize people participation in local development escorts;

•Prepare a barangay development plan base on legal requirements;

•Monitor and evaluate the implementation of national or local programs and projects; and

•Perform such other funcons as may be provided by law or competent authority.

FUNCTIONS: Sec. 111 (b) of R.A. No. 7160

- Ensure that the decisions of the Council are faithfully carried out and implemented;

- Act on maters requiring immediate attention or action by the Council;

- Formulate policies, plans, and programs based on the general principles laid down by the
council; and

- Act on other maters that may be authorized by the Council.

- Shall be responsible for providing technical support, documentation of proceedings,

Preparation of reports and such other assistance as may be required in the discharged of its
functions.
