PROJECT MANAGER (CIVIL)

ASCI is a prestigious, self-financing, institution imparting training on modern

management techniques to senior managers from the Government, Public Sector
Undertakings, Banks, multi-lateral organizations like World Bank, IMF, ADB, etc, and the
Private Sector, to enhance their managerial capabilities.

A set of new constructions are now being planned and the College needs the services of
a Project Manager (Civil).

The candidate must have 20 years experience in construction and should be between
40 to 45 years.

The selected candidate will have a key responsibility in the construction and
maintenance of College buildings. He should be well versed with preparation of
estimates, tendering process and have good knowledge of new materials and latest
practices in the construction industry.

The duties and responsibilities are as follows:

o Project management to ensure that there are no cost or time overruns;

o Obtaining required specifications, designs, architectural and structural drawings, etc;

o Liasoning & ensuring that all required approvals and sanctions of the requisite
authorities for the building(s) are obtained;

o Ensuring that the schedule and specific requirements of construction materials and
detailed estimates norms are followed;

o Obtaining required tender documents, calling for tenders and evaluating bids of
contractors as required and in accordance with the directions issued from time to
time by the College Authority;

o Ensuring that the local regulations governing such constructions are adhered to;

o Ensuring that the electrical and sanitary fittings are as per MEP norms and
standards;

o Ensuring quality control as per specifications;

o Checking receipts of materials and consumption;

o any other work assigned by the College Authority.

Remuneration: As per industry standards. Remuneration will not be a bar for the
right candidate. This is a full-time appointment as the College is undertaking regular
construction activity within its campuses.

Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
