Now with the right of privacy regarding the media I have concerns because most governments are hiding a lot of information and little will be done to ensure this information is available while little will be done against political parties collecting and misusing personal information of constituents. As such, a member of a political party can use/abuse/misuse the political parties files and then leak it to the media AND SO NO PRIVACY CAN EXIST AS SUCH UNLESS YOU INCLUDE ALSO POLITICAL PARTIES OF NOT ACCESSING PRIVATE INFORMATION AND NEITHER HOLD FILES OBN CONSTITUTENTS. . Any law that excludes the Government or any Departments in itself cannot be deemed for the good of the People as it rather then is a way for the government to try to legitimize its own date collection and the misuse of it. . For example more then 10 years ago, when I was representing a person, I discovered that Centrelink had already all bank records which I came to present and this was without knowledge and/or approval by the person I represented. Again, I came to present the documents and so it was not something in it that was to be hidden but the fact remains that Centrelink had access confidential bank details wit5hout the prior knowledge and/or permission of the person I represented. As a matter of fact when files couldnt be all located it was discovered that some were left unattended at a desk and other files I discovered on Centrelink computer which staff itself had not been aware of existed. Meaning unauthorized access is clearly possible and a persons confidential details can be misused by either staff or former staff at a later time. Now this includes all bank details and a person may be unaware that moneys may be defrauded from their bank accounts by Centrelink conduct as such. Therefore, I see no value in a so called privacy law unless the government is likewise restrained from accessing private details not directly related to ordinary administration. For example when I intended to use Internet iiNet it had a clause of disclosure to government agencies and referred to legislation I then established didnt in fact exist. I didnt join its services but again you cannot excluded government agencies and/or political parties from the same scrutiny. . Likewise where I discovered that Centrelink seems to disclose to foreign nations details of political refugees which in my view is a national security issue Centrelink never ought to
