the conscience of children is formed by the influences that surround them and their notions of
good and evil are the result of the moral atmosphere they breathe. Goenkan Model United Nations looks
forward to explore options that promote global peace and harmony by coming together to join hands and
create a robust system of wonderful, peaceful and meaningful existence.

It gives me immense pleasure to invite you to the Fifth Edition of the Goenkan Model United Nations
(GMUN), to be hosted by G.D. Goenka Public School, Siliguri from 2nd to 4th December, 2022.
This conference is an attempt to stimulate the students with a platform to debate, discuss and deliberate
upon the issues of seismic importance and we endeavour to provide one such platform to the young
leaders and global citizens of tomorrow to step up to their responsibility towards the nation and mankind
as a whole. I look forward to offer you a warm hospitality and tremendous support in making this
conference an incredible experience and hope to see you make the most of this opportunity to showcase

G.D. Goenka Public School, Siliguri. Model United Nations is an extraordinary opportunity for students to engage in
global affairs. The varied committees allow the delegates to discuss on topics of academic relevance and global
importance. In addition, it enhances diplomacy, negotiations and knowledge of international relations. Goenkan Model
United Nations has been a journey for us, where every year we bring together sharp, ambitious and inspiring future
global citizens and provide them with a platform for a meaningful debate on issues which hold importance in the
world. GMUN empowers students to showcase their immense talent and engage in dynamic dialogue. This diverse
gathering brings together an incredible group of young leaders, dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and also to bring
