TEQUILA SUNRISE
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 ounces tequila
• 4 ounces orange juice
• 1/2 ounce grenadine
• Orange slice, for garnish
• Maraschino cherry, for garnish
METHODS:
1. Gather the ingredients.
2. In a highball glass filled with ice cubes, pour the tequila and orange juice.
3. Stir well.
4. Slowly pour the grenadine around the inside edge of the glass. It will sink and
gradually rise to mix with the other ingredients.
5. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.
6. Serve and enjoy.
DAIQUIRI
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 ½ ounces light rum
• ¾ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
• ½ to ¾ ounce simple syrup, to taste
METHODS:
1. Gather the ingredients.
2. Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
3. Shake well.
4. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
5. Serve and enjoy.
MOJITO
INGREDIENTS:
• ½ ounce simple syrup.
• 2 ounces white rum.
• ¾ ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
• Club soda, to top
• Small handful mint leaves
• 1 cup Ice cubes or as needed
• Garnish: mint sprig and lime wheel
METHODS:
1. Lightly muddle the mint with the simple syrup in a shaker.
2. Add the rum, lime juice and ice, and give it a brief shake, then strain into a
into a highball glass over fresh ice.
3. Alternatively, you can use pebble ice instead and gently swizzle it all
together.
4. Top with the club soda.
5. Garnish with a mint sprig and lime wheel.
TOM COLLINS COCKTAIL
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 ½ ounces gin
• 1 ounce lemon juice
• ½ ounce simple syrup, 2:1 ratio
• 3 ounces club soda, or to taste
• Maraschino cherry, for garnish
• Lemon or orange slice, for garnish
METHODS:
1. Gather the ingredients.
2. In a collins glass filled with ice cubes, pour the gin, lemon juice, and simple
syrup.
3. Stir thoroughly.
4. Top with club soda.
5. Garnish with a cherry and an orange or lemon slice. You can also pin the
cherry to the citrus fruit using a cocktail pick and create a garnish known as
as a flag.
6. Serve and enjoy.
MARGARITA
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 ounces blanco tequila
• ½ ounce orange liqueur
• 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
• ½ ounce agave syrup
• Garnish: lime wheel
• Garnish: kosher salt (optional)
METHODS:
1. Add tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice and agave syrup to a cocktail shaker
filled with ice, and shake until well-chilled.
2. Strain into a rock glass over fresh ice.
3. Garnish with a lime wheel and kosher salt rim (optional).
WHISKEY SOUR
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 ounces whiskey (preferably bourbon)
• 1 ounce lemon juice
• ¾ ounce simple syrup
• 1 egg white
• Garnish: brandied cherry, Angostura bitters (to taste), or lemon peel
METHODS:
1. Add all ingredients to a mixing tin and shake with ice (wet shake) until properly
chilled.
2. Remove the ice and shake again (dry shake) to emulsify.
3. Double strain over ice into a rocks glass and garnish as you please.
PIÑA COLADA
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 ounces light rum
• 1 ½ ounces cream of coconut
• 1 ½ ounces pineapple juice
• ½ ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
• Garnish: pineapple wedge
• Garnish: pineapple leaf
METHODS:
1. Add the rum, cream of coconut and pineapple and lime juices to a shaker with
ice and shake vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds.
2. Strain into a chilled Hurricane glass over pebble ice.
3. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and pineapple leaf.
COSMOPOLITAN
INGREDIENTS:
• Ice
• 1 ½ ounces citrus-flavored vodka
• ½ ounce triple sec (Cointreau, preferably)
• ½ ounce cranberry juice
• ¼ ounce lime juice (fresh, fresh, fresh; no Rose’s)
• Orange twist, for garnish
METHODS:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add vodka, triple sec, cranberry, and lime, and shake well.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with an orange twist.
NEGRONI
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 ounce gin
• 1 ounce Campari
• 1 ounce sweet (Italian) vermouth
• Ice
• Orange peel for garnish
METHODS:
1. Combine all ingredients into a shaker or mixing glass.
2. Add ice, and stir for 30 seconds.
3. Let sit for 30 seconds, and then strain into a cocktail glass or, if you prefer,
an old fashioned glass with ice.
4. Garnish with orange peel.
MARTINI
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 ½ ounces gin
• ½ ounce dry vermouth, or to taste
• 1 dash orange or aromatic bitters (optional)
• Lemon twist or 1 or 3 olives, for garnish
METHODS:
1. Gather the ingredients.
2. In a mixing glass filled with ice cubes, combine the gin and vermouth,
pouring more or less vermouth to your taste.
3. Stir for 30 seconds.
4. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
5. Add a dash of bitters, if desired.
6. Garnish with a lemon twist or olives.
