Lesson plan

Class A1K9-15/11/2022
1. 15m: Warm up: Speaking activity: Students will stand up in 2 lines, the
students in the first line will ask, the other will answer, finish five questions,
the students will move to ask another person.
+What’s your name?
+Where are you from?
+What do you like doing in your free time?
+Do you play sport? Which is your favourite sport?
+What do you often do at weekend?
2. 15m: Lead in:
+ Ask students about 4 types of holidays.
+ Let students match the pictures with types of holiday.
3. 45m: Vocabulary: Holiday activities
- 10m: Divide students into 2 teams: they will stand in two lines, each member
will label 1 holiday activities with the pictures. T checks and give points.
- 15m: T instructs students read the new vocabularies.
- 15m: Games: Bang the board: T write 12 words on the board. Then 2
members from each team will stand in the middle of class. The rest of students
will read the explanation of these holiday activities. 2 members will slap the
board, who’s faster will get points.
- Item 3 page 48.
4. 45m: Reading
- 15m: Read the text: Invite some students to read the text, the others will
follow to understand the content.
- 20m: Item 5 page 50: Invite students read four descriptions, then T ask them 4
questions in mini tip. Take the answer from students and correct.
-10m: Item 6: Students work in pair to discuss 2 questions in page 50.

1. 10m Review vocabulary (6 words: nickname, training, twice, field, wizard,
charity)

-15m Item 1: Students work in pair to say three things about Gareth Bale.
-20m Item 2 and 3: Take the answer from students, ask them show the evidence
in the text. Then correct.
4. 55m Book page 47:
-15m Item 4: Students work in team to finish the task, then 1 student will come
to the board and write down the answer.
-10m Item 5: Students work in park, ask and answer about Gareth Bale.
-15m: Item 6: Student work individually, T takes the answer from each
students, then give the correct answer.
-15m Item 7: Writing:
Let students listen and complete the email, then takes the answer and correct
for them.

Lesson plan D1 – Saturday – Unit 4 page 44+45
15m: Speaking activity: Game passing the ball to introducing name, name
spelling and age, favourite color, favourite animal. T turn on music and
students will pass the ball to another student. T stop music, the student will
speak.
20m: Review vocabularies in unit 1+2+3: colors, numbers, school things,
family members, jobs:
Game: Racing on the board: Divide students into three teams: one student from
each team will write, the other will spell letters until they finish the words. The
fastest will get points for their team.
15m: Teach new vocabularies: body, head, hands, arms, feet, legs: show
students the image and teach them read and spell the words.
15m: Game: bang the board: T will write the words on the board, then one
member from each team will stand in the middle of the classroom, the rest of
students will read the word, T say “bang the board”, three players will find the
word and bang the board. The fastest players will get points for their team.
25m: Student book page 44 item 1+2+3
Student book page 45: item 4+5
Student will listen and chant. After that, they will stand in a circle and do
the action with the chant.
20m: Do workbook page 40+41
10m: Do the test.

20m: Game 1: Divide students into two teams (each team: 4 members): T do
the action of number, then students will slap the number on the board and spell
the word (example: 1 - one - o-n-e)
15m: Game 2: T put flashcards of number on the student’s chair, then turn on
music, students will move around. T stop music, S will find a chair and sit
down, T will go around and ask each of them read out loud the number.

20m: Activity with color: T will deliver handout for them to color, if student
color correct, they will get 1 point for their team.
20m: Game with color: 3 students from each team will stand in line. T will read
the color, they will look at their clothes, if they have that color, they will move

20m: Game 1: Simon says: Students in a circle, if Simon says, “Simon says
touch your nose” then all players must touch their nose. However, if Simon
says, “jump” without saying “Simon says” first the players must not jump. If
they do jump, they will out of the game.
15m: Game 2: T will put the flashcards around the classroom, T read the body
parts, students will find the flashcards and give to the teacher.
15m: Sing the color song and number song.
20m: Game with color: T read the color and, 2 players from each team will
pick up the color, the fastest player will get points.
20m: Game with number: T read the number, two players will write the number
on the board, the fastest player will get points.

Prepare: body flashcards, color flashcards, number flashcards.

GRAMMAR
15m: Warm up: Review vocabulary: Game hot board: Divide students into two
teams, 2 players will write the vocab on the board, the other will read the
explanation of the words. The fastest and correct will get points.
30m: Listening:
Item 7: Let S read the bullet and listen to the file.
Item 8: Students in group and discuss why C is the correct answer in item 7.
Item 9: Student underline the key word of question and three options, then let
them listen to the file. Take the answer from the students, give the correct
answer.
10m: Mini game: T show the some sentences, students will write present
simple or past simple on the board. The fastest and accurate will get points.
5m: Show the students the usage of Simple present.
20m: Students in pair ask and answer the questions related to daily routine.
5m: Show the students the usage of past simple.
20m: Students will have a small presentation in their group. T give each student
1 topic for them to present in front of their team, they will take turn to make
sure every member will present.
15m: Book item 13+14+15
Homework: Do handout Present or past simple.

Prepare print out question of daily routine handout; topic for presentation of the

10m: Review days of the week, month of the year: Game fill in the missing
gap, T will show the word on PowerPoint file, but lack of some letter, students
will say their team name to take the chance to answer.
15m: Teach new vocabularies: fingers, toes, shoulders, neck. knee, elbow:
show students the image and teach them read and spell the words.
15m: Game: racing horse:
Students in three teams. They will choose their favourite horse, T will put
flashcard on the chair, then read the body part. Students will quickly sit on the
chair which has that body part. T will move their horse.
25m: Student book page 46 item 6+7

20m: Do workbook page 42+43
20m: Review starters vocabularies: T stick all the vocabularies and let students
slap the board.
15m: Do the Starter practice listening test part 1.
GRADE 6 - Unit 3 - Grammar 1 - Countable/ uncountable nouns + quantifiers
15m: Warm up: Pronunciation multiple choice: Students in group discuss and
give the answers, the fastest and the most correct will get points.
15m: Do quiz unit 2.
45m: Countable and uncountable nouns:
10m: T show the list of nouns, then let students write these words in the
column, then T will check.
15m: Teach students the theory of countable and uncountable nouns.
20m: Do exercise to practice grammar points.
45m: Quantifiers:
15m: Teach students the theory of quantifiers
20m: Do exercise to practice grammar points.
10m: Students work in pair and make the conversation about what they need to
buy from the supermarket for the week.

- 15m: Warm up: Game hot chair with vocabulary.
- 15m: Speaking activity: Students in pairs, one students ask and one answer
the question.
- 10m: Speaking 1: Adding more detail and giving reasons: Show students the
example and the theory of because, so, as.
- 15m:Activity 1: Each student get 1 sentence and think of the detail or reasons
for that sentence.

- 20m: Students in pair ask and answer five questions in page 11
- 15m: Speaking 2: Experiences: Let students read the bullet box and analyze
the topic of speaking. Show them the sample and let them answer 4 questions
of the topic.
- 15m:Students work in pair and describe the trip that they liked.
GRADE 6 - WEDNESDAY - 23/11/2022 - Unit 2: Progress check
-20m: Vocabulary part: Students will have time to do the exercise, then teacher
will ask student to give their answer.
-30m:Grammar part: Review the theory of present simple tense on the board,
then let them write on their notebook, then teacher will correct individually.
-15m:Every day English part: Student will work in group to finish this task.
-20m:Reading: T ask students give the key word, then let them do in group to
discuss the answer.
-20m: Listening: T let students read the information in listening and let them
listen to the file, then give the correct answers.
-15m: Writing: Students will think of the activity they do on Sunday then
complete the email.
