So let us now proceed on our Projects Undertaken, Successes, and

Challenges.

We had three projects in Moog during our training period; the weekly
activity chart, research paper, and post training report.

● First is the weekly activity chart. Moog provided us with a template


log sheet for our meetings. After every meeting and activity, we input
the date, time log in, time log out, activity name, and notes. On the
notes part, we write a summary of what happened during the meeting
or activity. Aside from the meetings with Moog, we also input here the
time we spent doing our research paper and post-training report.
Through this we were able to track our progress and meetings in
Moog.

● Second is our research paper. Its content includes what psychometric


testing is and its importance, and the assessment tools and
psychometric tests used by big industries in their hiring and selection
process. We personally gathered data from employees and HRs from
different companies, asking them about the psychometric test and
assessment tool they use.

In our research paper, we also discussed and explained each


psychometric test they use, each assessment tool they use,
and the company background.

● Lastly, post-training report. Basically, it is a 4 pages report of our


experience and insights in Moog. There we have the summary of our
experience, description of our task, the academic knowledge and
technical skills we applied during the training, our personal insights;
new skills, new knowledge, new discoveries and perceptions we
gained during our training. We also have photos, highlights while on
training, our impression of Moog; on the work atmosphere and people
in general. Our plans to apply what we have learned in the future and
our recommendation for program improvement.
And of course, here are the things that we consider as our success
while on training.
● Our research paper, we were able to finish a research paper
while on training. We spent a lot of time doing it, we thoroughly
researched what we put on our research paper. Especially that
we had to contact employees and HRs to have sufficient
information and finish our research paper.
● Insights and new knowledge, it is a success that we were able
to gain and learn something from our training, from our
experience. It helped us expand our knowledge about the
industrial setting, we gained new insights about the role of the
HR department, and gained new skills through the online
exams, online interviews, requirements, and observations we
did.
● Lastly, we completed our internship period in the industrial and
organizational setting and it is really a success for us. We
accomplished every requirement given to us from Moog and
from our professors. We did not encounter any major issues
while on training and it went really well for all of us because we
learned and gained from this internship.

However, here are the challenges we faced while on training.


● Technical problems. It is unavoidable due to our current
situation of course, virtual setting. So there were times that we
experienced poor internet connection and audio problems. This
happens to both employees, employers, applicants, and interns.
Though there are minor concerns like this, it is still quickly
solved and does not cause big problems. Just a delay
sometimes.
● Then, lack of time is one of our minor challenges we
experienced. It was a concern for us because we weren’t able
to complete the minimum hours needed since we have fewer
meetings with Moog. We are supposed to do a presentation for
Moog but that wasn’t pushed through. And there was a time
when we were supposed to give feedback about the online
interview but due to lack of time, we weren’t able to share our
feedback.
● Lastly, data gathering was a challenge for us. We had to
contact different employees and HRs from different companies
to have sufficient data for our research paper. It was a
challenge because employees hardly remember the test they
took, or the assessment tool where they took the exam. We had
to look for HRs to obtain information about their psychometric
test and assessment tools they use in the hiring and selection
process. It was challenging because we do not know a lot of
HRs and not every company uses an assessment tool.

That’s the end of our projects undertaken, successes, and
