El Verbo to Be también conocido como "Verb To Be", es aquel en el que se explica
cómo van los sujetos en el presente simple.
Es una de las bases del inglés, que se traduce como ser o estar.

"I", es el único que irá con "am" { Was

"He", "She" and "It" van con "is" { Were

"You", "We", "They" van con "are" { Were

Affirmative form / Para las oraciones afirmativas se presenta la siguiente

estructura:
Sujeto o Pronombre + Verbo + Complemento

He was at home when I called.

They were at the club yesterday.
We were so tired that we decided to stay at home.

Negative form / Para las oraciones negativas se presenta la siguiente estructura:

Sujeto o Pronombre + Verbo + Not + Complemento

I wasn’t asleep when she arrived.

We weren’t married back then.
We weren’t happy with our hotel.

Para las oraciones interrogativas se presenta la siguiente estructura:

Verbo + Sujeto o Pronombre + Complemento

Weren’t they happy after the news?

Was Liam your boyfriend at school?
Were they cheerful?
