ANSWER:
A. The basic principles and laws of a nation, state, or social group that determine the
powers and duties of the government and guarantee certain rights to the people in it
B. The physical makeup of the individual especially with respect to the health,
strength, and appearance of the body
A. Those who are citizens of the Philippines at the time of the adoption of this
Constitution.
C. Those born before January 17, 1973, of Filipino mothers, who elect Philippine
citizenship upon reaching the age of majority; and
3. If the Philippine Constitution mandate the Bill of Rights of the Filipino people, what is
also our reciprocal obligation to the State? (5-12)
ANSWER:
Our only obligation is to obey the laws as it stated in the Constitution. The “State” is
the people. A democracy is a government of the people, by the people and for the
people. The problem with the present administration is that they consider
themselves different from the people who put them in office and are gungho to
change the very laws that got them elected into office. They think that the people are
obligated to follow them rather than the other way around.
4. What are the different citizenship values contained in the Preamble of the Philippine
Constitution? (13-28)
ANSWER :
Unity, Patriotism, Faith in the Almighty God, work, Respect for Life, Respect for Law and
Government, Truth, Justice, Freedom, Love, Equality, Peace, Promotion of the Common
Good, Concern for the Family and future Generations, Order, and Concern for the
Environment.
