Task 1: Survey of the e-Safety Rules in School via messenger or any platform via
media.

Questions and Answers:
1. Do you have an ICT facility in the school? What compose this facility?
-According to sir Ramil, an ICT Manager, they have ICT facility in their school.
One computer room each ICT room is composed of 2 server PCs and 42 thin
clients. Senior High School computer room has 50 PC tablets.
-According to Aljun Lee, a student, they also have ICT facility that are compose
of computers, LCD Projector and audio system, and with internet and Wi-Fi.
-According to ma’am Wenefe, a teacher, they have ICT facility and these are
computers, projectors and speakers, Wi-Fi and the others.
2. Who are allowed to use the facility?
-Sir Ramil said that all student/ learners are welcome to use the computers, as
long as no class is using them.
-Aljun directly answers, it is allowed to students and all creature in the campus.
And the internet/Wi-Fi are only for staffs and adviser.
-Ma’am Wenefe said that all students are allowed to use the facilities anytime,
especially during their classes they need to integrate computers. Our school
teachers have their individual PC in their Office rooms. So, they are rarely use the
student’s PCs.
3. What are policy, guidelines and rules in the use of facility?
-“Learners must only use the computer units for educational purposes. They are
also asked to respect privacy of others who are using the units and do not open files
that are not theirs. When using USB Drive, it must be scanned first by the ICT
teacher. And of course, to always take good care of units by not bringing in foods or
drinks in the room.”
-“It is the same with what other school policy, guidelines and rules in using the
facilities. What I really remember is we need to return the facility we used like
projectors and speakers and be responsible when it is loss and damage.”
-“There are many rules, policy, and guidelines I can’t mention it all. In using the
facilities it is important to use it properly, be responsible and always remember the
safety etiquettes.”

4. What are the e-safety rules that need to be followed by any user?
In this question, they gave me the same answers. These are the top 10 Internet
safety rules and what not to do online and offline.
1. Keep personal information professional and limited.
2. Keep your privacy settings on.
3. Practice safe browsing.
4. Make sure your internet connection is secure. Use a secure VPN connection.
5. Be careful what you download.
6. Choose strong password.
7. Make online purchase from secure sites.
8. Be careful with what you post.
9. Be careful who you meet online.
10. Keep your antivirus program up to date.
