II. Diagraming. Formulate a program that follows the given condition. Make it clear and presentable.
1. Clamping Device
Problem:
Create a displacement-step diagram, pneumatic and electrical (Direct control) circuit.
Presentation of the problem:
Parts are to be clamped using a clamping device. By pressing a pushbutton switch, the moveable
clamping jaw is pushed forward and the part is clamped. By pressing another pushbutton switch, the clamping
jaw is returned to its start position.
Positional Sketch:
2. Cutting device Positional Sketch:
Problem:
Create a displacement-step diagram, pneumatic and
electrical (Indirect Control) circuit.
Problem description:
Using a cutting device sheets of paper are to be cut to
size. By pressing two pushbutton switches the cutting blade is
advanced and the sheet of paper is cut. After releasing one
pushbutton switch the cutting blade is returned to its start position.
Problem:
Create a displacement-step diagram.
Problem Description:
Workpieces are inserted into the clamping device by hand.
Clamping cylinder 1A is to extend when the start button is pressed. When
the workpiece is clamped, it is to be drilled via feed unit 2A and the drill
retracted once again. At the same time, the clamping cylinder 1A is to
release the workpiece.
Positional Sketch:
4. Embossing Device
Problem:
Create a displacement-step diagram.
Problem Description:
Workpieces to be embossed are inserted manually into a retainer and
pushed under the embossing stamp by cylinder 1A. Cylinder 2A extends and
embosses the workpiece. Then, cylinder 2A retracted followed by cylinder 1A.
5. Stamping Device
Positional Sketch:
Problem:
Create a displacement-step diagram.
Problem Description:
Cylinder 1A is to push the box out of the gravity feed magazine
and clamp it. Only then can cylinder 2A stamp the box and retract once
again. Next, clamping cylinder 1A is to unclamp. The box is to be ejected
by cylinder 3A, which then returns to the retracted end position.
6. Assembly Unit
Problem:
Create a displacement-step diagram.
Problem Description:
Bushes which are placed ready for assembly in a
gravity feed magazine are pressed into metal blocks which are
also introduced in a similar manner.
Cylinder 1A pushes a metal block from the magazine to
a stop and clamps it. Then, cylinder 2A extends and presses the
first bush into place. Next, cylinder 3A is activated, pressing the
second bush into place. Then cylinders 1A, 2A and 3A retract
simultaneously. The assembled metal block drops onto a
conveyor belt.
