Asylum
SOLITUDE SANATORIUM- Nova Bitterfoot (female halfling)

13
Options:
● Visitation (could be an NPC for a side quest or an NPC to collect information
from)
o Some patients may respond in terror or with hostility depending on what
security level of which ward you are visiting
o You are not allowed to wear or bear adventuring gear into the facility because
it can pose a danger to yourself and the patients
o Visitations are monitored by nursing staff and the location depending on which
ward you are visiting:
· The First Ward is minimum security and visitation occurs in the
recreation room where staff checks in in intervals
· The Second Ward is low security and visitation occurs in the
patient’s room where they feel most comfortable with a nurse standing
outside the door the entire time
· The Third ward is high security and visitation occurs in padded
room called a “personal safety-room” where two staff members stand on
either side of the patient during the visitation

● May admit an unstable patient (must roll percentile die, 25 and below proves
unstable, or completely at DM’s discretion)
o If the roll falls between 16 and 25, they are placed in the minimum-security
ward
o If the roll falls between 15 and 8, they are placed in a low security ward
o If the roll falls between 7 and 1, they are placed in a high security ward

● Self-admission (could be for an undercover mission)

o It is DM’s discretion as to which security level ward you would be placed in to
o You are not allowed to bring into the facility any armor, weapons, or items that
may pose a danger to you or others in the facility
o You cannot just decide to leave or be signed out, you must prove stable
enough to leave (possibly a percentile roll, DM’s discretion)
● Admission of a party member (just for laughs mostly)
○ It is DM’s discretion as to which security level ward you would be
placed in to
○ You are not allowed to bring into the facility any armor, weapons, or
items that may pose a danger to you or others in the facility

For roleplaying purposes, you could have the Blacksmith create the basic standard item, such as a weapon
or metal armor, and have them take the item to an enchanter to bestow the desired magical properties. In
doing this, make sure you divide up the cost as needed regarding the base item cost, the cost of labor, and
the additional cost for the enchantment. As always, the DM’s discretion applies.

Brothel
THE BLUSHING MAIDEN- Vilielle (female Succubus)

There are many ways you could go about this but I will offer my suggestions:

17
● The brothel’s lower story functions much like a strip club with a minimum of 2 dancers always on
stage.
● There is a bar with seating, but most of the seating arrangements are tables and chairs that gather
around the stage.
● Personal dances can be requested to take place in the main area for a lower cost, or reserved
private rooms for a higher cost.
● Persuasion rolls can be performed to obtain “special services” in the private rooms. The rolls can
determine the degree of what services the workers are willing to offer, or the consequences of a
bad roll.
● The Brothel’s second story functions much like an inn (but for lewd purposes).
● Drink costs are higher than the average tavern due to the Brothel’s exotic nature.
● The room pricing is also higher considering the quality and condition of the rooms.
● If you aren’t drinking, tipping, or buying services, you get kicked out.

I personally find the time and cost tables to be unrealistic and impossible but I will slowly add price
estimates in the future. It is very time consuming to look up each individual item. DM’s Discretion

In the future:
I intend to create a printable player’s version so that they can explore and interact with the town to add
more depth to the shops that are primarily for roleplaying. The player’s version will not include items
above uncommon, nor will it include most prices.
