The United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals serves as the blueprint to achieve a
better and more sustainable future for all. The SDG offers a positive impact to our world.
First, it promotes global amalgamation of diverse counties and races because it demands for
a robust level of shared accountability to address worldwide problems which everyone is
facing. Second, people who are deprived of their human basic rights are given an
opportunity to see, embrace, and enjoy the world and the life that they deserve. Third, it
teaches people to recognize worldwide problems and to be more responsible to the world.
And lastly, it helps in ensuring a better life for present and future generations.
Purpose DONE
SDG17’s purpose is to “strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the
global partnership for sustainable development”. SDG17 is meant to provide a solid
basis for cooperation between countries, academia, public and private organisations
at multiple levels – international, national, regional, and local – to jointly achieve the
SDGs and other common objectives. The purpose was also to produce a set of
universal goals that would help combat the urgent environmental, political and
economic challenges facing our world.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED
Upon evaluating the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, I recognized the
importance of having a global organization that will unite diverse nations to achieve global
prosperity. I learned that in order to fulfill these 17 SDGs, humans are the key instruments.
When talking about how to accomplish our goals, we must first practice self-discipline. We
must be more conscious of and knowledgeable about what we desire. Starting with
ourselves, in order to achieve our goals, we must know first the responsibility that we may
get in carrying out the steps necessary to reach our goals. In addition, we should dedicate
our willingness and shared accountability to contribute to the global prosperity.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) touch on everything. Including good
governance, peace, the eradication of poverty, attaining gender equality, safeguarding the
environment, including our land and water, halting climate change, developing sustainable
economies, and reducing consumption. The SDGs are a universally understood common
language. We must LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND.
