1. Begin with plotting the first point of the first shape on the provided coordinate plane.
2. Plot the second point of the first shape.
3. Use a straight line to connect the first point to the second point.
4. Plot the third point of the first shape.
5. Use a straight line to connect the second point to the third point.
6. Continue in the same manner for all the remaining points of the first shape.
7. If the first and the last points of the shape have the same coordinates, the shape is closed.
8. If the first and the last points of the shape have different coordinates, the shape is open.
9. Do not connect points from one shape to points from another shape, unless their coordinates are the same or
the lines intersect.
