Anticorossive Epoxy Floor Coating

Product Details :
Epoxy Floor coating is a 2 pack Epoxy Coating formulated & designed to perform as a anticorossive Coating.
It performs the dual task of waterproofing as well as Corossive protection of the areas in which it is applied.

Usage:
It is recommended for the protection of areas subjected to corrosive environment.
It is formulated to seal & protect the porous concrete surfaces. It is easy to apply, quick drying,
It can be applied either by Brush, Roller, Spray.Iit is highly durable & abrasion resistant. It is to be applied as a Minimum 3
coat application.

Application Guidelines :
• The surface to applied should be free of dust & grease & loose flaky paint or coating
• Apply the 1st coat as a priming coat & allow it to dry at least for a minimum of 24 hours before applying the 2nd
coat. The reson for waiting for 24 hours is if there is any porosity(waterproofing) problem in the floor the dried fill
will show those areas as dry patches rather than uniform coated finish. If such areas are found, a 2nd touch up coats
at those zones is recommended before applying the final finishing 2 coats.
• The paint will Touch dry in approx 30 minutes & initial set in four hours & hard dry in 24 hours
• While doing multiple coats , it is recommended to wait for a minimum of 4 hours in between the coats.
• The paint can be diluted to the desired brushing viscosity if required with the suitable Thinner

Application procedure :
• Take the material in a Bucket or in a paint Pan depending upon the method of application
• Apply either by brush or a Roller with uniform strokes to achieve a uniform sealed look on the concrete surface
• Do not apply the coating to any surface if the temperature of the surface & or air is below 10 deg cent or Over 38
deg cent. Cool ambient & surface temperatures can affetr the Drying & hardening time of the coating

Chemical plants, fertilizer plants ,Refineries , Road & Rail Tankers, Bridges, water & Sewage works, Marine installations,
Ships, Pipelines for water & Gas, under water-underground & over land, Nuclear power Plant installations, Gas Installations,
Electroplating plants,& tanks, New & old masonry works, Swimming pools, As floor paint/coating in laboratory, on concrete
surfaces

Composition of the Floor coating: Solvent based Epoxy Polyamide system

Ratios : 2:1( Resin or colour: Hardner)

Pot Life: 30 minutes after mixing of the 2 components

Drying Time: TouchDry 30 to 45 minutes Hard Dry : 6 to 8 hours (at 25Deg cent & 50% RH)

Recoating Interval : Minimum 4 hours Preferably overnight( 12 hours)(at 25Deg cent & 50% RH)

Minimum recommended coats on concrete: 3 to 4 coats for a good waterproofing & chemical resistance

*For any testing to be conducted on the coating, it should be done minimum after 14 days.

Note : For Trowel applied finish, A Solvent free Epoxy coating is also available for flooring, application for
Extremely heavy duty traffic areas with lot of trolley movements &
Fork lift movements, Computer server rooms , Hospital hygiene coatings etc

Coverage:
Approximately 80 to 120 sft/kg/coat **

Storage:
Store in a cool & dry place away from Direct sunlight with proper sealed container Take necessary precaution as the Material
is Flammable in nature

Shelf Life:
Minimum 1 year if stored in a cool & dry place with the lid properly closed
