COMMUNITY PROJECT PROPOSAL


NSTP-CWTS-ALANGILAN

I. Title of the Project

NUEVA VILLA GREENS : Herbal Planting, for a Healthier Life in the Community

II. Location

The project will be conducted in the community of Nueva Villa Subdivision, Barangay Alangilan,
Batangas City. This is the chosen community for it is located within a 10-kilometer radius of
Batangas State University Alangilan Campus. Nueva Villa Subdivision is located 1.6 kilometers
away from the Campus.

The Beneficiaries of the project will be the residents of the chosen community located at Nueva Villa
Subdivision, Barangay Alangilan, Batangas City.

The beneficiaries will have the opportunities to learn social responsibility through sustainable living,
an outdoor area, and a means to develop safe and healthy herbal production in the community.

● The project's implementation will be observed and monitored by Ms. Lawrence Lacbao, CWTS
IE-1101 instructor.
● The proponent will implement the project and carry out the proposed program.
● With group chat communication, each member has assigned tasks so that the project will work
efficiently.
● Each member will take care of each budgetary requirement or materials and will prepare for the
area during the respective gardening.
● The project leader will conduct an evaluation of the program's lapses and shortcomings at the
end of the activities so that it can be improved and completed on the days that follow.
● On each day of implementation, the project leader will provide and submit an accomplishment
report.
● The project proponent will provide the Barangay Chairman with an Evaluation Form in order to
examine their concerns and input on the proposed program.
● In order to track the plan's activities and review their project-implementation experience, the
researchers will provide a narrative report everyday.

XVI. Plans to Ensure the Sustainability of the Project

To ensure the project's sustainability, the project's proponents will strictly adhere to the guidelines
and timeframes provided. They will assess the project's scheduled activities to maintain and assure
the proper running of the project, as well as to avoid any conflicts that may arise during program
execution.

Summary

HEALTH INFORMATION

A. Planting herbals
Most of the respondents opted for the "no opinion" response in “Planting herbal plants(halamang
gamot)”. Therefore, the researchers could propose a plan to implement a program that focuses on
medicinal plants benefitting the health of the residents in the chosen community.

B. Family Planning
2 out of 10 respondents opted for the "no opinion" response in the question “Do you practice Family
Planning?”. Therefore, the researchers could propose a plan to implement a program that focuses on
Family planning/contraception methods.

ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION INFORMATION

A. Palikuran
All of the respondents own a water-sealed, sewage or septic tank.

B. Pinagkukunan ng tubig
All of the respondents own and use faucets and community water systems.
