Students’ Perceptions Regarding to the Limited Face-to-Face Classes

Face-to-face lessons have been suspended because of the covid-19 pandemic for everyone's safety. Self-learning modules
were used by the Department of Education. And now that the students are having a limited face-to-face classes, there will
be some changes for them because of the modular class. This research tells us that the limited face-to-face classes are
more effective than having a Self-learning modules. The survey questions below shows us the experience of the students
and which kind of learning they prefer to.

The graph above shows that out of 18 respondents, 10 students or 56% of the total respondent answered “very satisfied”, 6
students or 33% of the total respondents answered “satisfied”, 2 students or 11% of the total respondents answered
“average” and no one answered “dissatisfied”. From the graph above, we can say that the majority of respondents
answered “very satisfied” which shows that they have a good experience in face-to-face classes.

The graph above shows that out of 18 respondents, 6 students or 33% of the total respondents answered “very satisfied”,
10 students or 56% of the total respondents answered “satisfied”, 2 students or 11% of the total respondents answered
“average” and no one answered “dissatisfied”. From the graph above, we can say that the majority of respondents
answered “satisfied” which shows that they okay with the discussion of the teachers.

The table 1 shows that in a total of 18 respondents, 18 students or 100% of the total respondents answered “yes” while
there is no one answered “no”. From the table above, we can obviously say that all of the students answered “yes”.
Therefore face-to-face classes made them understand the lesson easier.

The table 2 shows that in a total of 18 respondents, 18 students or 100% of the total respondents answered “yes” while
there is no one answered “no”. From the table above, we can obviously say that all of the students answered “yes”.
Therefore face-to-face classes made them get along with their classmates more.

The table 3 shows that out of 18 respondents, 5 students or 28% of the total respondents answered “yes” and 13 students
or 72% of the total respondents answered “no”. From the table above, we can say that the majority of the students
answered “no”. Therefore most of the students are not having difficulty to cope up in face to face classes after years of
being home schooled.

The table 4 shows that in a total of 18 respondents, 18 students or 100% of the total respondents answered “yes” while
there is no one answered “no”. From the table above, we can obviously say that all of the students answered “yes”.
Therefore face-to-face classes help the students improve and enhance their academic skills.

The table 5 shows that in a total of 18 respondents, 15 students or 83% of the total respondents answered “yes” while 3
students or 17% of the total respondents answered “no”. From the table above, we can obviously say that most of the
students answered “yes”. Therefore face-to-face classes help the students improve and enhance their socializing skills.

Pie Graph 1: Face to face classes is better than the modular and online learning.

The Pie Graph 1 shows that out of the 18 respondents, 8 or 45% of the total respondents answered “agree”, 8 students or
45% of the total respondents answered “neutral” while 2 students or 10% of the total respondents answered “disagree”.
From the pie graph above, it tells us that almost half of the students answered agree and neutral. Therefore I conclude that,
almost half of the students said that face-to-face classes is better than the modular and online learning.

The table 6 shows that out of the 18 respondents, 1 of the student or 6% of the total respondents answered “agree”, 15
students or 83% of the total respondents answered “neutral” and 2 students or 11% of the total respondents answered
“disagree”. From the table above, it tells us that majority of the students answered “neutral”. Therefore most of the
students are unbiased on supporting the face-to-face class despite having the COVID-19 pandemic.

The table 7 shows that out of the 18 respondents, 15 students or 83% of the total respondents answered “agree”, 3 students
or 17% of the total respondents answered “disagree” while no student answered “neutral”. The table above shows us that
majority of the students answered “agree” and no one answered “neutral”. Therefore, the students who chose to be on
modular leaning is facing difficulties in studying.

Conclusion
Therefore I conclude that limited face-to-face classes is effective to the students and it helps them to understand their
lesson easily.
