A. recognize the role of blood vessels in the circulatory system

B. locate the common pulse points

C. demonstrate how to use a sphygmomanometer and a stethoscope to take the blood


pressure.

D. discuss the importance of monitoring blood pressure.

well in our lesson. In Jesus

Motivation Before we proceed with our


discussion, let first have an
activity.
Class, do you want an activity? Yes ma’am.
This activity is intitled “Go with
the Flow” The class will group in to three
groups.
Each member of the group will
count off. Each member has an
assigned number.
I will call number or numbers,
like 1,4,7, and 8. The number that is called will
run forward and do a bridge
formation. The remaining
members will run forward and
pass trough the bridge and
move back to the line. They will
sit in line to acknowledge that
they are the group who finish
the task fist.
The activity will be done in
repetition until the emphasis of
a long and short bridge, fast and
slow flow will be understood.
