complete the template.

After which, answer the following questions:
1. In the video you submitted, do you think the IM you constructed is
effective? Why?

- Yes, because students prefer colorful, visible, artistic, motivating and

engaging instructional materials so that they can be motivated and
encouraged to learn. As a teacher, you should also know what good
instructional material can you fit or adapt to your lesson so that your students
are motivated to learn. Instructional materials should encourage students to
utilize higher order thinking skills and to become informed decision-makers, to
exercise freedom of thought and to make independent judgments through
examination and evaluation of relevant information, evidence and differing
viewpoints. And so that, the macro skills for this lesson can target the
students.

2. What are the things you need to consider in constructing Instructional

Activity Objectives for Reading and Speaking?

- You have to consider the age and level of the students. Because instructional
materials should be appropriate for the age, emotional and social development,
and ability level of the students for whom the materials are selected. And
instructional materials should be diverse with respect to levels of difficulty, reader
appeal, and should present a variety of points of view.

3. Construct your own criteria for Reading and Speaking.

- Ask questions to clear up any confusion about the topics and texts under
discussion.
- Build on others' talk in conversations by responding to the comments of
others through multiple exchanges.
- Follow agreed-upon rules for discussions (example, listening to others with
care, speaking one at a time about the topics and texts under discussion).
