Plan of Investigation

Our class was divided into groups of four, and each group was assigned an SBA to create a plan

of investigation. My group decided to write about crime and violence. I chose the impact of

crime and violence in Jamaica when it came time for each member of the group to select a topic

within the designated theme. If you were to ask me why I chose this theme or issue, I would say

that it is because I want to explain to the reader how crime and violence have taken many lives

and how they have impacted us.

As an English major, I could profit from this subject in the classroom, for instance, I can simply

complete the graded work on this subject and assist the other students. It will also enable me to

assist some of my friends who are heading in the wrong direction and explain how it will impact

them and other people. I would simply visit the Mandeville police station and request a one-

minute interview from the chief of police if I needed to gather pertinent information. I received

the poem from Google, the article from the cleaner, and the video from YouTube.
