1. Three definitions of strategic management from three sources/authors.

Strategic management is a continuous process that involves attempts to match or fit the
organization with its changing environment in the most advantageous way possible Lester A.
Digman.
Strategic Management as "a stream of decisions and actions, which leads to the development
of an effective strategy or strategies to help achieve corporate objectives". William F. Glueck
(1984)
strategic management is "the formulation and implementation of plans and carrying out of
activities relating to the matters which are of vital, pervasive or continuing importance to the total
organization". Arthur Sharplin (1985).

2. What is a strategy?
Strategy is a plan of action to achieve short, middle, and long-term desired goals. Strategy is an
action that managers take to attain one or more of the organization’s goals. Strategy can also
be defined as “A general direction set for the company and its various components to achieve a
desired state in the future. Strategy results from the detailed strategic planning process”.

3. What is your plan after graduation?

After graduation, I want to spend my time with my family. Also, I want to take a break and travel
to different places. After I give back to myself I will find a job that suits my abilities and skills so
that I can provide financial assistance to my family. Also, I would like to try different kinds of jobs
that can help me and equip me with knowledge and skills that I can use in the future.
