options given below your chosen task. Write 350-600 words.

1. Your parents have opened an animal testing laboratory in your home city, where a variety of
products are tested on animals. Many animal rights activist groups have protested against
this laboratory but you would like to demonstrate why this laboratory can have a positive
impact. Write a text to the local community that emphasises the benefits of the laboratory,
including for both animals and humans.

2. During research you have conducted on the animal welfare situation of various zoos in your
home country, you have found that these zoos have been distributing misleading and
dishonest brochures and advertisements to their local communities. Write a text to a
relevant teacher showing the findings of your research and arguing that zoos should be more
open and honest about their treatment of animals.

3. You had been travelling alone in an unfamiliar place but you got lost during your travels. For
four months, you had struggled to survive before you were rescued. Write a text to fellow
young adventurers warning about the risks of travelling alone in unfamiliar and dangerous
