V. RATIONALE:

The Danacbunga Elementary School shares the value of the

government to continuously exert effort to achieve a country that is gender
sensitive. Defined by the Magna Carta for Women (RA 9710) as the
development perspective and process that is participatory and empowering,
equitable, sustainable, free from violence, respectful of human rights,
supportive of self-determination and actualization of human potentials.
Parallel to this, the school aims to achieve empowerment among men and
women of the organization that will be reflected both in their career path and
personal lives, exploring equal opportunities, with voices on equal platforms
and avenue, empowered in decision-making as members of the same
organization working on a democratic atmosphere.
OBJECTIVE/S:
The activity aims to increase the level of awareness on female
leadership capabilities, gender-related violations in schools, and spiritual
aspect of life as vital part mental health care.
These topics hope to awaken the following among the school personnel:
1. Strengthen the collective voice and representation of women;
2. Appreciate the concept of women breaking free of traditional
boundaries of independence and gender expectations;
3. Conduct of Personal Career Path Progression as envisioned by them
as more empowered individuals;
