Minutes of Pre-bid meeting held on 08/08/2022 at Admin Building conference hall

The Queries of the above-mentioned firms are as follows:

1. Regarding the turnover during the covid-19 pandemic.

Old –
The turnover period mentioned in the tender document - The tenderer should have
a turnover of Rs. Two Crore (Specifically as Mess in CFTI’s/ State Govt. Funded Engineering
Institutes/Corporates/PSUs/MNCs/Any other reputed academic Institutes or more on
average basis for each year in the last three-year financial years (2018-19; 2019-20; 2020-
21) i.e., minimum Rs 6 crore total turnover in last 03 financial years.

New –
The tenderer should have a turnover of Rs. Two Crore (Specifically as Mess in
CFTI’s/ State Govt. Funded Engineering Institutes/Corporates/PSUs/MNCs/Any other
reputed academic Institutes or more on average basis for each year in the last five financial
years (2016-17; 2017-18; 2018-19; 2019-20; 2020-21) i.e., minimum Rs 6 crores total
turnover in any best of 03 financial years will be considered.

2. Regarding EMD submission

Old: The tender should be submitted under “Three Cover System”, the first cover is termed as Part-
“A”which shall contain technical bid including tender document, profile of the tenderer, EMD of
Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees Two lakh only).
New: The tender should be submitted under “Three Cover System”, the first cover is termed as
Part-“A”which shall contain technical bid including tender document, profile of the tenderer, EMD
of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees Two lakh only) except Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) or
National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) or are registered with the Central Purchase
Organization or the concerned Ministry or Department.

3. Reg. Submission of Security Deposit of Rs. 10,00,000/-

Old: The contractor shall provide interest free Security Deposit of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten
Lakhs Only) from the nationalized bank in favor of the PDPM-IIITDM Jabalpur payable at Jabalpur
before the commencement of the contract

New: The contractor shall provide Security Deposit of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs Only) in
the form of Demand Draft/RTGS/NEFT. DD should be made in favour of PDPM-IIITDM Jabalpur.
The security deposit (without interest) will be returned after the satisfactory completion of mess
contract period.

4. Regarding the apprehension on the electricity bill for the complete Dining and Kitchen area.

Presently, No Change in the tender clause.

5. Reg. Modification in Clause X (11) page number 09

Old : Smoking and consumption of alcohol by any of the Mess staff in the Institute premises is
strictly prohibited.

New: Smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco (Gutka) by any of the Mess staff in the
Institute premises is strictly prohibited. Appropriate action will be taken by the competent
authority upto the level of termination of contract, if the clause is violated.

6. Addendum in Timeline of Tender.

Technical evaluation Scheme (Stage-II) : Date of Presentation of Technically qualified
bidders at Stage-I will be August 25, 2022 (03.00 PM onwards)
