First and foremost, praise is to Allah for enabling me to complete all the task and project
without many difficulties. Special thanks and appreciation are given to my lecturers, Dr Suriani
and Puan Noorazlina for all their advice and guidance during the implementation of this
assignment. Without all the learning that I learnt from them, I would not be able to complete
this assignment.

BUILDING BACKGROUNDS

This house a single storey semi-detached house. It consists of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This
house is located at Desa Pinggiran Putra. Desa Pinggiran Putra is located at Kajang, Selangor. It
consists of free hold bungalow houses, semi detached houses and also double storey terraced
houses. It is built on a Malay reserved land and it was developed by Orchard Park Sdn Bhd,
subsidiary to TA Global Berhad. Desa Pinggiran Putra is a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood away
from Kuala Lumpur’s bustling city centre, this residential area is still very well connected to the other
parts of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur via major expressways. Desa Pinggiran Putra is easily accessible
and there are plenty of amenities that residents can get to easily. This residential area is an excellent
choice for housing for those who are working in the vicinity as well as in Kajang and Putrajaya.

CONCLUSION

Qlassic stands for the Quality Assessment System for Building Construction works. It is a construction
workmanship quality assessment system launched by Construction Industry Development Board
Malaysia (CIDB) in 2006. Qlassic is carried out based on the Construction Industry Standards (CIS7).
Some of the objectives of qlassic are to bench mark the quality of workmanship of the construction
industry. To establish a standard quality assessment system on quality of workmanship of
construction work. To assess the quality of workmanship of a construction project based on the
relevant approved standard. To be used as a criterion to evaluate the performance of contractors
based on quality of workmanship and lastly, to compile data for statistical analysis. From my
understanding qlassic can only be done to new building and not old buildings.
